    The back of cabinet is pressed wood and we had to enforce it with furring strips to anchor to the wall.Only 1 cabinet came out of 5,that we ordered.Had to spend several phone calls to get this order resent. We were given an additional discount,but would of rather put the cabinets up when planned.None of the delivery people spoke enough English and that was a challenge.

    Hampton Bay Shaker over refrigerator assembled cabinets
    I was looking for something to fill a space in our new home, decided on two of these put together as a window seat. The cabinets matched our existing shaker style close enough that no one will (probably) notice. I also added cabinet feet, a countertop, padded cushions and pull out shelves. Pretty sure this concludes my project, time to fill them up!

    This cabinet is TWICE as deep as all other wall cabinets
    I had planned to keep my existing upper cabinets and replace lowers only. Last minute decided to replace the uppers as well. I did a quick order and didn't realize that this cabinet was TWICE the depth of all the other wall cabinets. Much to my surprise, when the contractor unboxed it the cabinet was huge. It would have looked really stupid over the frig next to a normal 12" deep wall cabinet. I had the contractor cut it down to 12 inches. Another stupid issue is that NONE of the wall cabinets are finished with the same color as the outside, so that when they are hung you see the brown laminate. Who does that?

      Purchased (6) of these a couple of years ago. Purchased this one and it arrived with the back broken. It is now made with composition board on the back rather than plywood as original. The strapping band broke the new back during handling in shipment. Delivery drivers were taking off, stopped them,had them take a photo, they told me it would be picked up the next day. That didn't happen. I returned the cabinet to the store myself.
