These lights have a softening effect whether they are off or on. They are bright but do not over power. The band around the top of the sconce adds a classy look to finish off the clear and milky style of the sconce. I love these lights.

The trim on the edge of the shade made these stand out among other lights.

I like the brushed nickel look. I am not even finished with my bathroom remodel (you can tell from the pictures) but I wanted to see how this light would look so I put it up. It was really easy to put install. I have installed other light fixtures that did not hug the wall as good as I would have liked but this one does. It did take a couple of minutes to get the glass shades. My hand is a bit big to fit into the shade and turn the nut that holds the shade in place. But once I figured out a how to hold it just right, the process went quickly. It would have been a lot quicker if I had installed the shades before attaching to the wall or if I configured the lights to be pointing up instead of down. This will be a great addition to my new bathroom.

Although the light came very well packaged, out of the box there were scratches on the clear part of 2 of the glass shades and on all of the brushed nickel shade holders and the panel. It is an attractive light, overlooking the scratches. I would highly recommend purchasing in store and opening there to inspect. I don't feel the light is up to Hampton Bay Quality, The installation instructions are clear to follow and it was easy to put up. The etched glass is pretty when the lights are on and reduces glare. If not for the scratches, I would have rated the lamp higher.

Exactly what we needed to match our under construction bathroom. The light is the center of our bathroom it softens the look.

Liked the design and the use of regular type A LED lamp as opposed to an integrated LED lamp fixture. The glass shades are large enough to use your hand to change out the lamps if required. Great upgrade to my bathroom.

Not bad, can be mounted with lights pointing up or down, and looks nice either way. If you have big hands it is hard to assemble because you must thread and tighten the silver retainer that holds the glass in. The construction is kind of flimsy, but actually good compared to what is on the market today for these type fixtures. Over all I would recommend it if you like the style/finish.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the light but we had to return it ONLY because- yes, it works 'up or down' but in the 'down' position you don't gain much clearance and we had a very tight situation to fit a vanity light into (as can be seen in the photo of the unit we found at Home Depot that does work for us) so we found a similar unit that just barely fit in and also looks nice in our remodeling project for the bathroom. So if you need to mount these down to gain room from a ceiling Home Depot has units that will allow for more room. The photo is of a different unit that fit just right for us and their return policy was great- in fact I bought two units to see which one would be best the second time around. (Sure nice to have so many options!)

Bought this fixture on 7/7/17 and installed it the next day, only to find out that one of the lamp holders was not straight with the other 2 and no way to adjust it. It was slightly noticeable and irritating, but expected for something that was made in China. On 7/21/17 the center glass broke in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. I am getting tired of dealing with the poor quality of the lighting fixtures that I have bought from Home Depot, as this is not the first time I've had to drive 50 miles back to the store to return or replace a damaged or defective item.

Easy assembly, easy installation, and really 'brightens' up the room (pun intended). Love it!

Inexpensive fixture that looks great in our pool bath that has a harbor dock feel to it. Only issue is that no matter how I fiddle with the glass I cannot align them so that you do not see the lettering for the "max wattage" thru the clear part of he glass. Distracts from the fixture. Also, the box and display in the store shows the lights hanging down, which is how I have it installed. This review shows the glass and bulbs installed facing up.

The fixture is nice, but the towel bars were substandard. They don’t fit flush to the wall due to a design defect.

Lamp looks nice. Waited a long time in line due to staff shortage at home depot pick up.

We purchased two of these lights for our new bathroom less than 3 years ago. They are now rusted although we never use the shower in this bathroom. Called home Depot and they told us it was abuse and told us to paint them. I am very disappointed in this product and the services of home Depot. The the label on the product says for use in damp areas with a 3-year warranty. They are not honoring my warranty and will not do anything to help me

Very nice, well made fixture. As with most in this price range, the back plate is a bit thin but definitely not a show stopper. Particularly useful to be able to hang it either shades up or down.

We purchased two of these vanity lights rated for damp indoor areas but they're rusting after 16 months in a bathroom. We spent nearly $200. Garbage! We like the style though!

Bought for my small bathroom! Looks nice and fancy!

It was perfect size for the small bathroom in our rental unit. It provided plenty of light over the sink and it was easy to install. It met all of our expectations.
