No strings to tie the folds securely when it is down. Tilt function is a button near the top of the pole. Only someone tall can reach it. I am a senior and will have to climb on a chair or step ladder to reach and activate it. Terrible design and poor value.

Pretty umbrella but it doesn’t have a tie to keep the wind from picking it up. Wind gets under it (when closed) knocking the table over and taking umbrella completely out of the base!!!

Once it was opened it would not close completely. Also, the material allows sun to filter through rather than providing full shade. This is not obvious from the image or the description. I was disappointed. Also, it was recommended for the set I purchased, but the umbrella does not fit well in the base. It wobbles.
