[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this a few weeks ago, when we were fixing the garage disposal and dishwasher so a sealant was needed so far so good the mixture is alittle thick but it does the job . No leaks on any of the pipes so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before that I used different sealant to fix my pvc pipeline leak. Not more problem with hercules anymore. It is universal product so works with different materials and I can use it around my house for different purposes. Every home owner must have it, just in case.

Great product. Do job well. I used on water pipes

I’m a DIY and do a lot of plumbing around my houses. I like using Teflon tape, but sometimes it’s difficult to apply tape to pipe threads where the plumbing is hard to reach or in tight quarters where there is little room to circle the pipe or fitting with tape. This liquid sealant worked just fine to seal threads for a copper fitting connection at my toilet near the floor and it was much easier to apply with just a few brush strokes, than wrapping tape around the fitting. Winding a small piece of tape around a fitting can be frustrating sometimes, and this sealant is a good and effective substitute. I like that there is a small brush applicator attached to the container cover. The brush applicator was pre-bent at an angle, but I found it easier to use a straight brush, so during the application I simply straightened it out with my fingers. The sealant itself is blueish in color and has a chunky, gritty consistency that I had to brush-out to assure good coverage. However, it worked fine in place of tape, and I there was no leaking. This is a good product to have around, since it is easy to use and apply. Any spillage is easy to clean with a rag.

I applied this over teflon tape for leaking threads in water filter housings and it stopped the leaks. Easy to apply with included brush. Applied very thin layers and it was enough. Fluid but not running. Light blue color makes it easy to check application. Cleans up easily.

great pipe dope, use it on everything water, diesel fuel, coolant, natural gas lines.

The product itself was rock hard. Wasted money because it wasn’t useable.

A little runnier than I prefer but it works well.

Use it all the time works and seal great

Probably the best pipe dope that can be bought at ordinary supply houses. Right brush-on texture / density / firmness. Works well along with tape if you are using tape. Sets, but doesn't set hard like "Block" does. Expensive, yes. But one doesn't use a lot per pipe connection. And the "workability" and "rightness" is worth it. (And can use it on steam pipe without getting oil into the system.)

Good to seal the threads.

Hercules Megaloc worked fine in PVC to PVC, Brass to Brass. and Brass to PVC applications.

Thinner than I expected and hard to keep on pipe threads without falling off.

Didn't live up to it's advertised description.

I used it for cast iron pipe in doing some gas connections. Once connected I put a gas leak meeter on each of the joints and no leaks. Great stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If I buy a sealant I like it to do it’s job sealing for plumbing work and have the right viscosity and setting time. This Hercules did a great job threading my toilet valves and I’ll get it again when I need more sealant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hercules megaloc thread sealant is perfect for all my plumbing needs. It goes on easily with the brush provided in the lid and seals quickly leaving no leaks. I had a small leak under my kitchen sink recently and this product worked perfectly to seal the leak.

Used it on fittings for SF6 pressure transducer. Worked excellent to seal it, as I was having issues trying to keep it from leaking slowly. Held at 150 psi and is still holding.
