This shelf is nice looking, but it doesn't hold too much weight. I would say less than 8 lbs top. However, it is very easy to install. It comes with all what you need to do the job but the drill.

Easy to assemble, lightweight, and looks great on the wall!

We bought two of these shelves from Home Depot online. The shelves are made of poor particle board construction and not sturdy at all. The posts on one of the mounting brackets were not welded on straight so the shelves lean at an angle once mounted on the bracket on the wall. We were hopeful about these shelves but overall a waste of money. I hope I can return them.

We bought 3 of these. Put up one and will return the others. The slots inside the shelf that the bracket rods slide into are MUCH larger than the rods so the shelf is wobbly. The shelf moves at least 1/4" left to right, and up and down as well as away from the wall. As stated by others the wall anchors are crap. The only reason I'm keeping one is the holes are already in the wall. I'll probably get new wall anchors and drill out the old ones to make it semi usable.

Does not hold weight stated. Looks good but I had to buy another bracket for support.
