Can a fan be sheik and sexy? We installed two of these in our home and they are both sheik and sexy as well as quiet. A good buy!

It took a while to install ... especially with the flush install option which was necessary because the ceiling is not too high. However, once installed it's a dream. It is very quiet and does move a lot of air, so we keep the fan on low. A modern looking fan at a reasonable price.

This fan comes at a great price and is very stylish. I tried writing a review earlier, but was unable to add pics. Now that feature is working again. I installed this fan myself which was very simple. The blades were just a bit tricky to attached but I think that is only because this was the first install of this kind. I did forget to place the transmitter into the ceiling and so after it was completely installed I was going to turn it on and noticed what i had done. So the second time around installing the blades was easy. I hung this in my kitchen and love the looks. It has great airflow, it is energy star rated and the airflow efficiency is very high. And because my ceilings are so low, I chose to mount it semi flush without the down rod. I did not like the light bulbs, they are a soft white, which to me looks yellow and dark. I prefer to use all daylight 5000K and so before buying this I was actually going to buy the hampton bay model,but the light bulb for it is hard to find and does not come in a daylight lamp. The Home Decorator's is the same fan but the light bulbs are GU24 bulbs and it's cheaper. I ended up finding the daylight 5000K bulbs at home depot and purchased them when I picked this fan up from delivery. Now the bulbs are expensive, but should last 22 yrs, so I wont ever need to change them hopefully. The daylight bulbs are in the pics. They are kind of hidden within the fixture, so the light output is not as great as it could be. Before installing the daylight bulbs, the light was yellow and very dark. I would totally recommend this fan, but you have to purchase the daylight bulbs or you definitely won't have good lighting. I will also add that I wish the remote was white and had a plate to mount it to the wall. Guess I will improvise and use a command strip to secure it to the wall.

Easy installation with a beautiful appearance and great value.

This ceiling fan was easy to install and has absolutely NO wobble - it is soundless! The bulbs in the light fixture will be easy to replace - no tools needed when climbing the ladder and no screws to drop and/or lose. Feels wonderful and keeps me cool, even on 90+ days!

Looks really nice, works well. Adds a nice light to the room with a nice cool breeze.

We love our new ceiling fan in the master bedroom (with vaulted ceiling)! This fan cools efficiently and looks great. We wanted something that looked a bit more modern, but not too crazy. It seems that the fan blades are more aerodynamic too... it puts out a great breeze! We read the reviews about this fan shorting out, so we made sure to install 13w bulbs. The light isn't very bright, but we expected that given the design. As far as installation, we were able to reuse an old Hampton Bay downrod but I cannot comment on the actual process because we had an electrician install it for $95. Considering the value we got for the actual fan, we figured we'd spring for the professional install for our high, sloped ceiling. :)

I've installed a lot of fans and this one was simpler and smarter than most, although a few minutes of trial and error was necessary to route the wires around the mounting bracket. The blades are molded in an aerodynamically correct shape for silence and high airflow (they are correctly tapered, twisted and cambered), and they balance perfectly for wobble-free performance. Note that the camber is intended for downward airflow, not upward. The CFL bulbs are included and provide about the same light as bedroom light fixture with two 6-Watt bulbs. They can't be dimmed, but I've found dimmers on other fans to be a bit of a nuisance anyway. The nicest surprise is the excellent remote control with LCD display and wall holster. The fan can be set to turn off on an adjustable timer after you go to sleep, or to slow down and stop as as the room temperature drops. Home Depot: Please include photos of any remote controls that are included with the fans you sell!

Appearance workmanship and cost excellent value

It was easy to install. Good quality, I have 4 of them in my house. Excellent speed. Meet my expectations for the price.

Fan and light at my fingertips...love it!

The fan was easy to install, quiet and looks great. The light is not very bright which is why I only gave it 4 stars. I am using the bulbs it comes with which are at the max recommended wattage. A bit disappointing since it replaced the only light in the room.

We really like this fan. We live in Florida and need air moving at night. This fan does a great job moving lots of air and keep the room cool. We've had various colors of this fan over the years and the matte black version really looks sharp! I like the size of the remote, not like some brands that have small remotes. The fan comes with bulbs, but they are more a dimmer light. We always replace the bulbs with daylight bulbs to add brightness to the room.

Very quiet and good performance

Fans are up. A sticker indicating "Up on sloped ceiling" made no sense. Videos were no help as they did not explain this aspect. Delivery left them in driveway in plain view of potential porch pirates instead of on patio where all the other deliveries go. There is no holder for the remotes. But they look great. Work great. The remote functionality is great.
