Went to install and one screw would not open (where you stick the wire in). Returned to the store and the gentlemen working there could not open either. He said get another and we'll check it. Got another and the same screw had an issue. We decided to try another model. It had the SAME issue! While he was searching the web, I called the 800#. The customer service rep said "Oh yes, that is an issue"! The store employee was finally able to lossen it and I was able to use the third thermostat we tried. Other than that, it worked fine.

        Terrible
        On my way back to the store to return my 2nd one. The red wire cannot be inserted. Apparently this is common. Tech support told me I should return it and by the T series (double the cost) …great advice our product is defective so you should buy the more expensive version. Not buying honeywell again.

          I like this Thermostat because it has separate programs for weekdays, Saturday and Sunday, so you can customize your times to suite your preferences. Initially, I tried using the default setting that automatically turns on the system so that you reach the desired temperature at your start time. However, in my case the system turned on about 1.5 hours before my programmed start time to reach the desired temperature. It was too early in the morning for me, so I changed the default back to OFF. The wiring instructions are straight forward but I did call their customer service to verify that I didn't need to use the blue wire for this thermostat. It's been working as programmed since I bought on 3/11.
