I inherited a digital thermostat in a condo. Yearly batteries, etc. I’m back to an analog Honeywell. Set it & forget it.

Note your needs first; then ask Home Depot staff for help. I purchase the “Round” Honeywell manual thermostat 1H/1C; but …. it’s not the one I needed! Called JCO Electric and paid the service call fee and one hour charge, $275. They couldn’t install it; but did offer to sell me another thermostat for an additional $290+installation! Home Depot staff helped us select the proper device, and referred us to Honeywell phone for service. No charges, no fees. Cost of new thermostat $49.98. Honeywell tech walked us through installation. Thanks to JCO for the rewire and expensive lesson. BEST THANKS TO HOME DEPOT, DIANNE/ DENISE, and HONEYWELL’s tech MAURICE. We have our heat pump working great! 503garry

Easy to install, fits firmly and flush on the wall - looks and works great. I was shopping for a thermostat that did not require batteries - just set it, and forget it.

My wife found this much easier to use then the electronic one it replaced and I have to agree

The room temperature shown on the thermostat was in error by 5%.

The thermostat was properly configured and installed. Two phone calls were made to customer service to verify the proper installation. Apparently the thermostat was defective from the factory. After it was installed both the gas heating forced air furnace and the central air conditioner ran simultaneously. I would not suggest buying this thermostat.

Love the simplicity of this thermostat. Very easy to use. Very easy to see temp settings. Exactly what I wanted.
