Easy project to do. I painted my green and mounted it amongst the vines. Looks sick.

Disapoinhted/ perhaps was reading wrong but i don’t want “kit” i want real bird house not bunch small pieces of wood

Great project for my Girl Scout troop and to give back to the community. Quality product and easy to follow instructions.

Easy to build. Appears to be durable, however, the wood is not pressure treated. So it may not last long if not painted.

I made with my young grandson and we had a lot of fun putting together and painting.

Not the same house as I bought last time. Saved money by making the sides 1/2 size

Wonderfully fun and easy for kids

Bought two of these for my Cub Scouts Ages 4-8, they where able to build bird house with little help from parents. Instructions where easy to follow.

Good kit for kids; extra nails would have been appreciated.

Great craft for kids who have some familiarity with these types of projects. The material is superior to the "Build and Grow" sets (thicker wood, no MDF) and I expect these bird houses to survive outside and even earn some winged tenants. My only complaint is that some of the wood edges could have been finished smoother. I had to sand many of the pieces down to avoid splinters.

Thought it would be a real kit with the glue and paint

Great idea for our kids to create something to add to our home. However, would definitely hold off doing something like this when they are a little older. The loved decorating these items too.

Like many, my son got this for Boy Scouts. I didn’t order them for the den but the first thing that i noticed was the huge gap on both sides. The side pieces should be redesigned to reach the roof of the birdhouse. It’s also not too difficult to make one side hinge on a couple of nails to make it accesible for cleaning out after the birds leave for the season. I’ll have to cut some extra wood to fill in the sides so that actual birds will use it.

Nice little project to do with children or grandchildren.

The kits worked very well, since we predrilled the nail holes.. They ended up being very nice.
