[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dempsey Low Profile with Light 52 inch was easy for me to install. The instructions that came with it were easy to follow. Once installed the fan worked with no issues. The light was just right. It gave my room a very stylish look.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I started looking for a compact ceiling fan a few months ago. I found the Dempsey Low Profile Fan with light. Its just what I was looking for. Its 52 inches with 4 blades. Easy installation similar to other ceiling fans with lights. It has a sleek modern look. Great air flow with only 4 blades. Though, its not the quietest fan I have had but I would not say its the nosiest I have had either. I found the noise level was the highest on high.

Easy setup and good air movement. “Blew” our other fan away….hahahaha

Looks great, very quiet and easy to operate.

We bought 3 of the 44" Dempsey Low Profile fan for the smaller bedrooms and office, and liked them so well, we bought the 52 inch for the Master Bedroom They're quiet, effective, provide ample light in the room and it's easy to get to the lightbulbs, and I look the look of them installed as much as I hoped since I was shopping on-line. As me in 5 years how they hold up over time; but I've had Hunter Ceiling Fans before and found them to last a long time without making funny noises. One even continued to work well after a 7.3 pt earthquake.

This is the third demsey ceiling fan we purchased. Almost every room on our second floor has one.

Attractive fan, quiet and perfect fit for the kitchen.

I can’t even put the fan on a angled ceiling and it’s hard to install.

Airflow from Dempsey Low Profile as advertised - more than adequate for our kitchen. Light profile perfect - non intrusive to space.

No complaints with the fan itself- very smooth and quiet. The remote is awful. The light switch and dimmer function are both controlled by the same awkward to use button. The light does not evenly glow in the housing and has two bright spots where the bulbs are.

This can is perfect to complete the look in our dining room! Love it!

Fan was relatively easy to install (took about 1 hr at an easy pace - using existing ceiling outlet). Screwing the blades in place was a bit tricky (push them into the slots and then lift the tips to the ceiling so you can see the hole to screw into). No wobble. Totally quiet on lowest setting, very slight motor humming on medium setting and slight hum on fastest setting - but for both medium and high settings the noise of the moving air will be at least as loud. The lowest and medium speeds feel a bit too slow. The highest setting will definitely cool you down quickly. Would be good to adjust upwards the lower speeds (or at least the medium speed) a bit in future so that the different steps are all useful. The low speed is probably useful for circulating warm air in winter. Overall, happy with the purchase at the price. I'd buy this fan again - a model with a wider blade span than 52in would be even better.

Fan is great; installation is tough. It required 2 people and needed tap and dye for some holes and bolts.

Easy install. Works well without requirement of a bunch of troubleshooting. Slick look that fits with multiple design styles. Reversible blades to suit the look you’re going for. I’ve purchased about 10 of these fans, 4 in my past home and 6 in my current. I installed them all. Would definitely recommend.

Got this for my twins bedroom. The room has vaulted pitched ceilings with a drop down mount. This low profile fan fits perfect and draws a solid draft! Super quiet! I highly recommend!

This fan is well worth the purchase. Installation is simple and a breeze if you know a little about electric. Just make sure the power is off.

Fan works great but the light does not. Double and triple checked the conection. I'm positive it's the light fixture itself.

Not hard to install but the ceiling fan when turned on in makes a noise not a loud noise but enough where it could be annoying but if you turned it on medium you don’t hear the noise

I love the fan. The install instructions weren't so good as far as the wiring. The light also has a dimmer on the remote which is not great or explained in the directions. It seems like it goes on by itself. To reset it back to bright you have to have the fan and light off by the remote. Then press and hold the center fan button on the remote then quickly press the light button on the remote 2x you'll see the blue light flash several times, then immediately let go. Sometimes this has to be done a few times to get the light on bright by itself. It is a nice fan and light though if you're aware of how to deal with that imperfection. It is a very sturdy fan and really blows a lot of wind. I'm not sorry I bought it. It's a very nice looking fan as well. I just want others to be aware of these problems before buying. My neighbor has the exact fan same problem. Hers is 52 inch mines 44 inch.
