After bending my basic basin wrench failing to loosen a corroded faucet, I went looking for a better tool. This is it! It's easy to open the jaw using the handle from below. The length and strength of the tool are the high points. The heavy duty non removeable handle allowed me to add a cheater bar to bust loose the corroded connection. Yes, the retraction lever has a hair trigger but I learned not to touch it. I can probably tape it down to keep it locked. See attached photo.

This wrench worked on my 1 7/16" Delta widespread faucet nuts, although it was just barely big enough! The head was small enough to fit in the very tight space, though, and larger sized wrench might not have fit. It is very strong, and did not flex at all when I tightened the nuts as much as I dared in order to avoid cracking the granite top. I don't care for the quick-release length adjustment. Although I did not have the problem, it could have easily been accidentally bumped in use. The lack of handle holes, however, probably contributes to the wrenches' strength (no weak points at the holes to bend.) A great value at $20.

it is a must have tool when replacing a kitchen Faucet unless you have small hands but I still would get it

The Husky Telescoping Basin Wrench lives up to its brand name with one minor exception. This basin wrench is different than others I have used in the past in that the adjustments for length are made via notches on the rear of the bar and a thumb operated bar release. This gives the tool much finer adjustment than the standard hole and poppet arrangement found on similar tools. My only concerns with it are that the thumb release is made of plastic and may break under extended use or from damage encountered from being banged around in tight spaces like under a sink. The tool will still lock with the release missing, it would just make adjustment a bit more difficult. The other concern would be hitting the release accidentally while working with it causes the tool to retract as it is spring loaded. I have not had this happen to me while working with it, but I can see it as a possibility. Overall, a good stout tool that does what it is supposed to. This is a very well made basin wrench. Really durable and really makes the job so much easier! I now consider it a Must Have tool! You can adjust the length (telescope) which is awesome. I am so glad I bought this. It took me a minute to figure out I had to flip the top piece over, depending on which way you want to turn the wrench. Well made and sturdy. Good tool to have if you are a do - it - yourselfer!

Like the extension to get away from the drains

Had a bigger span than my other Basin Wrench and with square handle allowed me to use a crescent wrench for a better grip and more leverage. Corrosion was so bad that this still didn’t break the nut loose

Very handy when you are taking faucet out of tight spaces and very useful when you need to make it longer you’re able to and reach hard to reach places.

Excellent quality tool

The wrench was as described in the product literature but unfortunately was not the correct size for the job required. The wrench was returned to Home Depot for a refund.

1. does not grip anything: the teeth are carved at the wrong angle, depending on the size open 2. spring action is too weak 3. look closer, come on, look: when you pivot the claw, it's off-center, that means it's useless in tight spaces, and gives you no rotation power. See? look again. 4. Buy a wrench instead.

Great tool for hard to reach spots!

Good tool very useful to get the job done

It’s a good tool for deeper sinks. It enabled me to easily tighten the ring nut on my kitchen sink faucet. The plastic mechanism to extend or retract the shaft could be an issue if the wrench was dropped, so that is a concern.

I really liked this wrench. I needed it to help replace a faucet in the bathroom and I wasn't sure how it would work, but it worked great. Verry sturdy and well made. I already recommend it to others.

Fits 1 3/8 nuts on delta faucet’s when other basin wrenches are too small. Bought this wrench, because my other basin wrench like most only fits up to 1 1/4.

Useless tool. Wrench was more effective.

I removed a 1.5" nut from a kitchen faucet mount. I needed a cheater pipe on the wrench handle for enough leverage. The water supply valve was stuck open but this wrench gripped the oval valve knob easily. Great wrench!
