Sturdy add on for various uses.
The portability stability and weight accommodations appear to be more than adequate. The router table insert is not modifiable. A solid thickness router insert that was non-drilled would have been more advantageous. I was very disappointed in the shipping as all they did was put one strip of tape on the underside to secure the small storage bin. This was not even put in a box, and moved through the UPS system, when once I received it, I noticed that one Of the sides were damaged after unpacking

    Great portable work table
Purchased to use on multiple types of projects and not so much a router table. I have found it to support some pretty heavy objects as well as clamping down some projects for sanding. I have owned it just over three months and the leg storage holder has broken zoning one leg. Now the unit is pretty useless to carry around without some kind of bungee or tape to keep that leg in. I have only set it up 5 times before it snapped the plastic clip. I didn’t even get the leg close to coming out before it snapped. Overall I think it is a good product and easy to carry around. I will be returning it and will give it one more chance if they replace under the husky product warranty. I wish they will come out with maybe metal clips instead of the plastic one to hold the legs for storage.

Pretty good table, a couple of cons though
It’s a solid table that you can leave in your workshop or even on the jobsite. The only issue I had was with the pre drilled holes that come with the routing plate, I have the Milwaukee fuel cordless m18 router and it did not fit, I was quite frustrated at first, but then I remembered that I have a workshop to fix that. All I did was line up my plate, mark holes, drill and counter sink 4 holes, and it works perfect now.

Router plate does NOT fit anything.
Buyer beware. The routing plate fits almost no model of router made. Home Depot doesn't even sell a router to fit the plate. None of the hand held routers will mount, none of the Royobi Plunge Routers Home Depot sells will mount, my Black and Decker plunge router won't mount. I saw on the reviews where 1 person with a Dewalt plunge router was able to mount his but I am not sure he didn't modify it. I drilled new holes to mount mine. It's also 1" less wide than a standard router plate..... junk.

Not fit for drop in router plates.
If you want to drop in a router plate from another manufacturer this will not work. It’s 1 inch smaller. You will have to make do with the husky plate. Overall it’s a split table. I wouldn’t dance on it. The t track is thin aluminum and the bolts are a tight squeeze. It will hold 2 by material well.

            Perfect Solution
I needed a space saving router table solution for my garage and this was perfect. I swapped out the husky router plate for the stronger Rockler Woodworking Phenolic plate and it fits perfectly - no gaps. Table is flat and true. Even comes with the hardware to make your own fence which was a nice surprise. Great option if you are tight on space!

                Love this table...But
I love this workbench. use it all the time. Which may be why one of the red clips that holds the legs in place snapped one day. The leg no longer stays stowed, super anoying. Other than that its awesome!! I would gove 5 stars if ot wasnt for the clip.

The table works for my needs-occasional woodworker and garage busybody. It comes with 2 screws that slide in the slots to make a fence, and I went to HD and got some Bessey 2.04 (4"×2") bar clamps ($4.97 ea) that also fit perfectly in the slots for other clamping needs. My Dewalt router fits perfectly on the router insert-I found a YouTube video that pointed out which holes to use. I improved install by removing the handle knob on the Dewalt attachment so it can easily go in and out. Good steady surface that holds a lot of weight-I put 500 pounds on it with no trouble. The ability to put a 2x4 on the extension clamps is a plus. I attached a power strip on one piece for easy on/off of router and multiple power connections. 1 minute to set up and when I'm done it takes 1 minute to store legs and put folded table out of the way. For the price I couldn't be happier.

Great work bench, poor router table
Overall, great workbench. However, when I hooked up my router, the force of running a small prices of maple shattered the plate. Thankfully, no damage done to me, my router, or the router bit ... table, not so much.

Designed a homemade jointer jig that drops right into the router plate whole. Love this workbench! Jointer jig uses the same fence that I made for the router.

Good Workbench, Router Function Needs Work
Great table work a sturdy work bench. A steal at $50! If you are not a project person and want to use the "bolt in" plastic router template with the pre-drilled holes, you will need to ensure your router actually fits, but Husky don't list which models fit. Some of the users in this forum have commented which work. Most routers will not fit. I love a good deal, and purchased the 1 1/2 HP Ryobi for under $100! The narrative below explains how you can inexpensively adapt it to a larger, flatter table inexpensively for under $30. It works even better now! In my case the new Ryobi would not fit either. The problem, and this will be the case with most routers, is that you need to figure out which under-bench mounting screws will fit your router, buy them and likely drill your own holes. To countersink and be below surface, they need to be cheese-head type (v shaped) screws to leave a flat work suface. HD may not stock them them, since they may be a specialized machine screw. For the Ryobi, I found that 5/16" bolts would work, but no cheese head screws were immediately available in that size, so what to do? There were at least 2 possibilities. (1) Purchase four smaller cheese head screws that hold on the plastic face plate and use these to mount the router. My second choice because they are not as substantial as the 5/16" screw, and probably not recommended by the manufacturer, but they would likely work. May not be safe either. Who knows. I purchased four stainless steel 1" V-shaped screws and planned to grind them down to exact size, but again, purely a backup plan. (2) BEST SOLUTION: Buy a piece of 1/2" thick, high grade plywood to mount on the top of the table. This will give a larger, smoother working surface, superior to the work table (see various user comments). HD sell them in 2' x 4' size. Cost me about $17. If you have an off-cut, even better! Look closely at the sequence of photos. I started by making a template with cardboard, torn off the back of a writing pad. Taped it to the plastic pre-drilled template, and used it to drill 3 holes to mount the router. When you make the template, use the plastic face-plate from the router which makes it easy. Remember to cut out the round center hole to position with the hole. I taped mine down and drilled straight through the cardboard and plastic together. Worked like a charm. some fiddling required with the drill. Do not try to countersink the big bolts, as it will weaken the plastic and you will need to purchase 3/16" ply and make a new insert! Now, mount the router underneath. See the ugly, big bolt heads? These can be hidden by re-using the template underneath the plywood, and making a recessed hole using a larger spade drill but. Don't worry that it leaves a small hole through the ply, it makes no difference. Once you have made countersink holes, the ply will fit over the table. Cut the center hole using a 2 1/2" hole saw. The next step is your first routing project! Mark up the board on top to machine route the two guides on the ply, which will hold the fence and clamps. Then use a spade bit to drill holes at each end. Remember the lower slot needs to be larger than the channel so that a clamp can be slid in. I used 3/16" for the slot and 3/4" for the wider bottom piece. When you route the channel, clamp two thin pieces of wood to the table, so the ply will slide without hitting the bolts now poking up the router bench. I used two pieces of door casing since 2" x 4" wood was too thick as the router bit would not adjust that high. Once you have the desired channel routed out, mount your ply over the top of the bench. For perfect alignment, I inserted the 2 1/2" round cutting bit through the ply, and the drill bit in the center fitted into the collet of the router. Screw the ply down using 3 cheese head screws top and bottom on the ply. Mine screwed into the 2' x 4" timber in the frames at the top and bottom of the table. Ensure the 2 x 4's are first screwed in and align with the ply. Now insert the fence bolts and mount your 2 x 4 fence and you are done. Took me 2-3 hours of fiddling and a trip back to HD for the bolts and ply, but overall a much better tool for routing. worth evey bit of effort which will last for years.

Good Strong Table Very Well Built
Table is very stable and string. Easy to assemble and the expansion hooks can be very useful. There are only two reasons that I did not give this a five star rating. (It should be 4.5 but I could not figure out how to do a half star) 1. They should have put a measuring tape etched into the long sides of the table to allow quick measures. 2. My Ryobi Miter saw does not fit into the slots for securing down. So even though they say it is a miter saw table it really is questionable. I would absolutely recommend purchasing this even if just for an extra table at the job site. Sooooo easy to put together and tear down. Can do it in less than a minute.

I bought this for working with my chop saw (and a bench for other hand work).. I like the fact that the legs come off, store under the table top and there is a carry handle to make transport and storage easier. The mounting slots do not match the chop saw I am using now (might match my other saw) but that seems to NOT be an issue. The saw has been stable on the table surface for the 2 weeks I have been working with this project. Good solid work surface. I would buy another one just to have it around. I have not tried the center mount system. It looks like it would be good for my router and possibly some other hand tools.. Did I mention that it can be a work bench?

This table is a must have for any do-it-yourselfer. It's a sturdy work table by itself with legs that easily stow in the belly with built in clips to hold them in place for convenient transport, carrying or storing away. There's also a very strong handle and a detachable tool storage box that contains the router snap-ins and lumbar braces, which are great for raising material and allowing clearance for cutting without damaging the table surface. Home Depot has some great little inexpensive bar clamps(Store SKU #1000039458) that fit perfectly in the provided tracks which is great for holding material or a router guide as I did, see pics. I marked off one star because the provided router mounting plate has a very slight flex in it which makes precision work difficult. It's also just a hair shallower than the cutout and shimming on the corners makes the flex worse so the only solution I had was to mount two pieces of angled aluminum underneath to increase rigidity.

We are thrilled with the purchase of this table. It was easy to put together and to use. It more than meets our expectations. Love the way the hooks can be stored on the legs when they are folded up. We bought it about a month ago and am thinking about purchasing another to have two tables and projects going at the same time.

                            Needs some fixing
Okay, I purchased this today to use solely as a router table. it has some issues in this regard. First, my router is a standard Ryobi I purchased a few years ago from Home Depot, it's a fairly common router, midline, this take advertises that it will accommodate many popular brands, it did not fit my Ryobi. I had to modify the plate by drilling singe extra holes to match my specific router, not a big deal. Second, the point of counter-sinking a screw hole is so that the screws sit flush with the plate, the pan-head mounting screws that were included did not. Third and mist frustrating was the fence mounting hardware and the track. The track was not wide enough to accommodate the included bolts, this kind of defeats the purpose of the fence if you cannot move it into position. I had spend an hour with a hammer and a Dremel tool to wooden it just to get my fence in position, it's still not free moving and I have to pound it in and out of place with a mallet. In the future I would check that.

We needed a table for our miter saw and wanted something that we could fold up and put away. We compared prices on tables and this workbench stood out for its size, folding legs, and weight. We bought it about four months ago and it's held up to constant use and activity! It's very stable and can handle a lot of weight which is nice. The plastic is durable (which is a concern because you never know). We are hard on things too so thumbs up on this product!

The table itself is a very nice table. I like how easy the legs and parts box snap into place under the table for easy transportation. My biggest complaint is that the advertisement says the router plate will fit most common routers. My Black & Decker router did not fit it. I purposely bought a Craftsman router thinking, for sure, this common brand router would fit. It also did not fit. Now I am forced to drill out the router mounting plate in an area that is not reinforced as the pre-drilled areas are, in order to mount my router and I am concerned about the stability of the mounting plate since it is made of plastic. It would be appropriate for Husky to list the routers that will fit the pre-drilled holes for mounting.

This workbench totally exceeded my expectations! It have very solid and stable legs that lock in without any wobble. Yes, it is a plastic surface but a very strong and reinforced one. It has standard metal tracks for which I bought 2 clamps that fit perfectly in the slots. I use the provided fence bolts to create a fence out of a 2x3 I trimmed square on my table saw. I used the provided attachments to affix 2x4's to the front and back and have longer ones to use for long board work. I added an aluminum clamp down fence to run front to back. I mounted my router in it but had to add a hole or 2 to do it. ABSOLUTELY worth the price... and that was dirt cheap for what you get/and can make of it!

Nice jobsite table when modified a bit...
I've been needing a table at work (finish carpenter) for forever to keep my tools that are out more organized and off the floor, as well as a good place to do some touch up sanding, trim routing, assembly etc. I looked at the centipede and it seemed more complicated than what I needed, and then I'd have to carry around a table top thick enough to not warp to put on top. So I went with this Husky. Love the weight, and that everything stores within it. Didn't need the tracks on it, or the router table capability (I just use a trim router and run it down all my material) so really I just needed a table. I screwed down a piece of scrap plywood to the top to give me a smoother work surface to work on that won't ding whatever material I'm working with on top. I cut out notches around where the 2x metal brackets slide in, as I like to still use those with some 2x6s in them (going the long way) to make a nice door slab station whenever I have to modify doors. Very happy with this little table in it's current configuration.

This is a great portable workbench. It is quick to set up and very sturdy. I use it mostly for as a general use surface but often sand my work pieces on it as well. It is not heavy enough to be ideal for that but it works great for the most part. I have a compatible 2.25 HP Milwaukee router but have not tried it in the table yet. The surface is not flat enough to make a *good* router table but I suppose it would work in a pinch. Overall I am very pleased with this table and it is in almost constant use in my shop.

If you have a compatible router, I would recommend this table to you and give this product five stars. If your router is not compatible and is the primary reason for buying this table, I would say pass this by. I really like this product and would give it five stars if it were either 1) universally usable by any router, or 2) a full list of compatible routers was provided with the product and available on the Home Depot website for review before purchasing. After un-bagging the parts, assembly takes less than 60 seconds and disassembly less than 60 seconds. The legs stow in the underside of the table top and are secured with plastic clips. The leg bottoms have a plastic ball joint self leveling foot. The aluminum legs use a friction type screw system. Inserting the leg into the leg socket of the table requires less than a full turn secure the leg snugly. The table is very light, yet quite sturdy. I'm confident this table would hold my body weight. Also included is a plastic toolbox to be used to contain the table parts, e.g., two hex bolt, two star knobs, four 2x4" holding brackets, and four plastic separators to be used in the plastic toolbox. The metal brackets are made of thin metal and don't appear to be adequate for use. However, I have not tried these brackets. The hex nuts with with star knobs is a nice addition, and therefore would negate the need to purchase two 4” x 2” Bessey clamps. However, I purchased the Bessey clamps ($4.97 ea.), to clamp down my existing melamine router fence. Additionally, the hex bolts were a little wider than the extruded aluminum and would require the aluminum be filed down slightly to allow the hex nuts to move freely the length of the aluminum slot. I purchased this workbench after reading all of the available reviews, and was well aware that the router plate is NOT a universal fit for all routers. Other reviewers pointed out the omission of a list of compatible routers, which I did not find either. Another reviewer reported contacting the manufacturer and getting a list of compatible routers, but was not sure it was a complete list. One reviewer with a B&D router was capable of using the provided router plate. I have a very old Black and Decker fixed base router. I discovered that my router is not compatible. I rolled the dice... snake eyes. So, I did as a another reviewer did, and I made my own router plate. As that reviewer pointed out, the plate thickness is unusual. One reviewer said he had success with 3/8" plywood. Unfortunately, I could not find any 3/8" plywood locally, plus I measured the thickness at 7/16". I cut some 1/2" birch plywood using the Husky router plate as my template. Then I surface routed one side to reduce the width to 7/16", and sanded smoothly. I drilled a hole in the center to accommodate my largest router bit, and using the detachable router face plate, I drilled three countersunk holes to mount the router to, minus the face plate. Less than perfect, my router table plate was about 1/16" shy of level with the table recess frame and the rest of the table surface. Additionally, as another reviewer observed, there appears to be a slight sag in the middle. I concur. I used 2-sided tape with a 1/16” foam center as a shim at each of the four corners before tightening down the plate. However, I was still shy. I also noted a considerable gap existed between the two extruded aluminum slots and the router hole in the plate. The weight of the router affects the accuracy of level, thus a sag. My primary purpose for buying this table was to replace my crude melamine router table made from an old book shelf and a B&D workmate. I use this table primarily for cutting holes in my cigar box amplifier/speaker baffles. Works well for that purpose, but not much else. However, this makeshift table actually is more accurate than the Husky at this point. If the router table capabilities are not a selling point for you or you have a router compatible with the router plate, then this table just might be for you. If you are looking to use it for mitre saw stand, I would spend the extra cash and get one of the low-end mobile mitre saws sold at Home Depot. There are two with good reviews and less than $100. If my router was compatible, I would have kept this table in a heartbeat. It is light and could be used in the house, etc., for many other things. Since, I could not circumvent the issue of incompatibility with my fabricated router plate, I returned the table to Home Depot today. There was no line in the returns area and with my receipt, I received a full refund and my cash back in less than 5 minutes. I’m probably going to make my own mobile router table. Should be a nice pocket hole jig project.
