Button worked well for 6 months. Now it won't turn on the disposal. When I push on the button, it makes a squishy sound, like there may be water inside.

This is causing my breaker to trip---it happens when the disposal is off.

Easy to install. had a little leakage due to small cracks in the granite from drilling the hole through the counter. Easily fixed with silicone caulk. If not for the cracks, the gasket with the button would have done a fine job.

I was able to put in a new disposal and not have to pay a fortune to have an electrician come out and put new wiring for it in my kitchen. This Air Switch does a beautiful job.

Item was not long enough. Had to order an extended one. Shipping was almost as much as Item.

We modified our kitchen island configuration and lost some outlets, so our installer suggested that we change to an air switch for our garbage disposal, I had never heard of one before, so I chose the InSinkErator because it would match my disposal. Neat product! They installed a button into my granite and I press the button to turn on the disposal. I like it. Low profile yet effective.

Very easy to install - purchased a $30 hole saw kit to cut through the marble top. Highly recommended!

You might not believe this, but we used this to bypass a broken air switch mechanism on a jetted tub. This had at least 2x the amperage rating of the tub switch that was stuck in the ON position. It works perfectly and we have a working tub again.

Once the unit was installed by a professional electrician and plumber, it has certainly been an addition to my prepping area that makes this grandmother happy. In addition, my insinkerator is not clunky, noisy, or a cheap model that is not up to the work load. Thank you.
