( used for 1 month) Only time will tell if this product will meet the service time and performance of my 24 year old Craftsman 5HP 20 gallon horizontal compressor that it replaced. I like the compactness for its size an effective use of space. Tank Max Capacity pressure of 155 lbs is a plus. Also quieter that my older Craftsman when it runs. So far it meets my expectations. Hardly a day goes by when I don't utilize this compressor!

The compressor is very nice. It is top heavy. It is quieter than my previous oilless CH. Note: it comes pre-filled with oil, and the oil will leak when the compressor is placed on its side. So you should purchase additional synthetic compressor oil to top up the reservoir after transport.

Works great ... very quiet compressor, go to 155 psi, which is just what I needed .... great service at Home Depot when I picked it up, couldn't have been nicer, both at the Counter and the young man who helped load it onto my truck. I would definitely recommend this compressor as well as the service and courtesy of the Home Depot.

Wanted a compressor that would do over 135psi and last, just did not need a dual stage 175psi unit. Space that I had would also not allow for a 60 gal tank. Saw this on line and it hit all the points. I did not give this an excellent rating due to two items. First the unit was shipped with out being full of oil. Had to add 1/4 of a quart to see the oil in the view window. Also, since the handles are welded to the carrier, it was a little hard to put an inline regulator / filter on the system. If these were corrected, I would give it an excellent rating. I've been using it for several weeks and has more than enough air to run air guns, nailers and everything I have tossed at it so far. Also builds pressure back pretty quickly. Order some synthetic compressor oil, make sure it is filled and follow their break in directions.

This is my second review of the product. The first unit was returned to HD with a bad motor within one week of casual use. Things happen and hopefully the second unit will outlast the first. The Depot was good about making the exchange but we would have appreciated expedited shipping on the replacement unit. We remedied the bleed valve location (see my previous review) by adding a 90° elbow to the tank and a 5" length of brass pipe to bring the bleed valve out to a location where we can bleed it without any issues. The unit is converted to 220v and I would recommend this to anyone using the product. A 1.75 hp motor is marginal at best running on 120v. So far, it is performing flawlessly in our small shop. The motor only runs 2 or 3x a day to recharge the 30 gallon tank. It is a lot quieter than the DeWalt compressor it replaced too. Downsides: 1) The pressure feed line from the cylinders to the tank gets extremely hot and has no protection from contact whatsoever. Wrap it with insulation or place cooling fins on it. 2) Bleed valve is in an awkward position. Move it so users will be more likely to drain it regularly. 3) The Owner's Manual is pretty poor. While any competent electrician can convert the unit to 220v, there is no information about doing so in the manual.

It's a great compressor! It runs quietly and does not leak down. It was shipped and arrived in perfect condition! I couldn't ask for more!
