Good sound. Very slow to turn on and hard to use
Unfortunately the usability of this product makes it a pain to use. It takes too long to turn on and its hard to use just as a bluetooth speaker. It wants to be on wifi and it makes it hard to use it otherwise.

        Isdues with connecting with iPhone for calls
        Was pretty easy to set up and WiFi works but for some reason, I can not use it as a speaker phone for phone calls and face-time - why? Is there a different way to set it up?

            Cute and handy
            I’m a female so I wanted something workable for me. I got the white speaker and I love it. I have not begun to see all of what it has to offer but I don’t have any complaints.

              Know problem
              I received a JBL Link 10 for my birthday 2 years which I took tremendous care of. After the first year it took longer and longer to charge the built in battery. Now it does not charge and JBL said that's my problem. After doing some research it appears this is a known problem with this device. If I were you I would be extremely careful. Do your research before purchasing.

              There are factors we need to consider with the battery life of our speakers. Our products have lithium-ion batteries that have charging cycles. These cycles will get consumed when you charge your unit and completely discharge it. This explains why speakers can last for six to eight hours when you first bought it. Two years later, it may only last up to two hours. This is normal. What isn't, is when a 12-month-old battery only lasts 15 minutes. Temperature also affects the battery life.                 Okay speak, regularly drops Google login
                It's a fine speaker, and worked great for maybe six months. Now it loses its login with Google and has to be re-setup every day or so. Multiple factory resets don't appear to help. I basically don't use it any more because it's awkward and painful.

                  If you don't use google home - dump
                  I HATE this speaker. Bluetooth was a mess - can't connect. Needed to download the google home app (which i don't use) and still couldn't get to connect to bluetooth (I just want the thing to play music). We have a couple of other JBL products and love them - this one i absolutely can't stand...it should not be this frustrating.

                    Sounds Good
                    I bought this a month ago. It was simple to connect as a wifi speaker with Google Home. I like that it is rechargeable and I can take it with me. The sound quality is good for the size but I dock it 1 star because I wish it had more bass. I bought it refurbished. I would not buy it for the full retail price.

                          Being a very long time JBL fan owner of two pairs of JBL L100 back in the 70's I must say I am dissapointed in the sound quality . The Link 10 sounds like a blanket is over it. It does not have clean clear highs.

                            Still learning all it's uses, but so far has been great.

                                  Great sound quality. After about two years of usage, I believe the charging port is damaged and it won't hold a charge.

                                        Laptop Connection Failed
                                        I like the speaker and it works well with my phone. But will not link up with my laptop. That's the reason for the 3 Star. Obviously can't recommend, but I did keep the speaker and give to a friend that needs a phone speaker.

                                          Keeps Breaking
                                          I bought one last christmas and it broke within 2 months. It wouldn’t charge or turn on. I only used it in my room and took it nowhere else. They gave me a new speaker and that one broke within a month! Won’t charge or turn on. It was a great speaker but is very unreliable.

                                            Google Home Assistant loses setup.
                                            Bought this in March 2019. Last few months, the speaker will lose its Google Home configuration and requires you to repeatedly setup again using Google Home app.

                                                Sounds fantastic but...
                                                I bought this about a month ago and I am consistently astounded by how incredible it sounds. The lows easily beat the other three powered speakers I have and has become my go-to speaker of choice. The problem I have is that the speaker loses its Google Assistant connection every day. I have to go into the Google Home app on my phone and reconnect it without fail. This gets annoying and tedious. As a Bluetooth speaker this product is simply amazing!

                                                  I'm pretty thrilled with this speaker. I scored a bargain on a refurbished one and am so glad I held out on getting a cheaper tiny smart speaker. I love that is portable, sounds great, and connects well both to WiFi and Bluetooth. My only quibble is the five-hour battery life rating. I've not used it enough to know whether I'll be able to get more than that with low volume or if I'd be lucky to get that, but really, if five hours is an honest rating, that will probably be ample for the majority of my not-too-frequent outdoor adventures with this speaker.

                                                    Keeps turning off when charged
                                                    I got this as a present from my wife in April and i was so excited. The sound was amazing straight out of the box but seven months later it started behaving weird. While fully charged it would shut off after about ten mins of play all the time.I reset the speaker and reattached it to my Google home.It worked for a minute then started shutting off again.Now, I dont get the female voice response anymore. Just a duh dum sound from law and order. JBL what is going on......

                                                      Great Sounding Rugged Speaker Loaded With Features
                                                      I bought this so my kids could listen to music while we play outside. The design lends itself to being fairly rugged, which is what I was looking for since there's usually a good possibility it might get hit with some sort of sports ball. The sound is great, it really fills a decent area without bothering the neighbors (much) and only distorts a little bit at maximum volume. The Google Assistant feature is nice too, since I can bark commands instead of pulling out my phone or walking over to the speaker. Overall, this speaker is darn near perfect for my purposes, and I would definitely recommend it.

                                                          No blue tooth connection
                                                          I can't connect the unit to connect to any devise using bluetooth. Neither direct or using google assist.
