It's a fairly well constructed wheelbarrow and a perfect size for home use; however, the square bolts don't sink flush unless forcefully tightened which would be unnecessary if the design was correct--for that I give 3 stars but overall for home use and overlooking the bolt issue I'd give 5 stars--I'll split the difference and give 4 stars : ) because the bolts should fit and sink flush without extra force. These square necked bolts are usually used to bite into wood, not metal, unless the metal has been designed to accept the square necked bolt which this barrow is not : ( Bad Ames on these bolts! When putting it together, make sure the wedge's flat (sharp edge) goes towards the tub and the rounded edge goes against the handles, seems to align better. Hand tighten bolts, once assembled then secure bolts.

I bought two of these for a construction job (had to order online wait a week to ship to store ) one last 2 weeks handled snapped off clean where bolt hole to tray meet … I have used their Jackson 6 cu ft in the past with much better results don’t waste your money on this the handles will surely fail

Well the handles arrived about a week earlier than the wheelbarrow in a separate carton. The handles were supposed to be wooden handles as pictured and described but I received square metal handles and the carton indicated that the handle grips were in the box with the metal handles. No grips to be found in either carton. I did not want to deal with Home Depot customer service and I needed a wheelbarrow so I just cut some 1/8" wall steel pipe about 20" lengths, 1" ID. I inserted the pipes into the handles and bolted them in using the holes provided leaving about 10" protruding out of the square tubes and used that for the grips. Probably last forever and likely better than plastic ones i never received. Other than that the wheelbarrow seems of good quality and assembly was easy. I use the wheelbarrow quite often for various projects around the property. Other than the problem with the handles and grips I am happy with the wheelbarrow

Sturdy and easy to use, assembly was somewhat difficult but that was to be expected

The plastic retainers supplied did not fit the machine screws they were intended for, so we assembled without them. The retainers are only a convenience to assembly, not a necessity . Good quality overall, the handles are poplar which is disappointing. The same wheelbarrow purchased 35 years ago cost $40 and had much tougher hardwood handles.

If you want a robust, stout classic wheelbarrow, this is the one. Expensive for sure, but you get what you pay for. This thing is a hoss. Not recommended for those needing only light duty - this thing is heavy. Built to last though. I like the 5 cu ft size, it is a good compromise.

Picked it up at the store. The company logo was printed on both the inside and outside with white paint smears. Doesn’t speak highly for the product if that’s passed quality control! The metal was already dented. The wooden handles were stuck together- they just e been packaged while lacquer was still wet. Assembly was a beast. The screws did not rest flush in the carriage holes—literally the part of the wheelbarrow where all points conjoin. Definitely won’t last long with this quality. Have to run to the hardware store to see if we can find bolts that might rest flush. This is like buying yourself stress and errands. Don’t do it!!!

Quality throughout. Extra reinforcement. Home Depot ordering and delivering was outstanding. Instructions, not so much. Expect to learn on the fly. Really need two people to assemble. Would order again.

Product is well-made and sturdy. Supplied instructions were poor and difficult to understand. Computer video helped and made it clearer. Important thing in easing the assembly is to hand tighten all the nuts and bolts and then do the final tensioning systematically. Shipment came in two packages. Handles were separate. Read previous reviews that this was a problem as the shipments were not kept together. Bought the smaller 5 ft.³ tub. But has the same undercarriage and support as the larger industrial model. This is better as it is more manageable for the spouse. Preferred the tubed wheel as they are easier to handle in different & soft terrains. Also preferred the single wheel over the double as the barrow is more maneuverable. Jackson is an expensive brand but the quality is well worth it. Happy with product and would recommend.

Beautiful wheelbarrow, but just too heavy for my needs. Returned it.

Easy to assemble with well written instructions. Strong steel tub and wooden handles. The wheel with an inflatable tire and ballbearing shaft that includes a grease fitting should provide long term smooth rolling. For me, the size is just right for general use around the yard.

Wheelbarrow is really solid construction. Putting it together went well except one of the screws wasn't threaded cleanly so the nut was very difficult to thread (even when doing it without tools to start, so it I didn't strip it in the process). That's the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. However, with the right tools and some effort, it got tightened and now the wheelbarrow is working great. Right size for me, rugged construction, and I appreciate the added stability from the extended feet.

Easily assembled and seems pretty heavy duty.

Heavy construction, and just the right size for general use around the home. This is not a garden toy wheelbarrow.

Metal appears to be fairly solid.The included assembly bolts have no relation whatsoever to the design of the wheelbarrow - the bolts have a square assembly under the head, yet there are no square cut-outs to receive them properly. How did this flaw get past the design engineers at Jackson?

Good wheelbarrow. Read the reviews on the flat free tire not meeting expectations and special ordered this for the pneumatic tire and have not been disappointed

I like that I can maneuver this slightly smaller wheelbarrow. It was easy to put together and seems extremely sturdy.

Tighten all bolts only when the wheel barrow is completely put altogether; that is when you will see the squared carriage bolts in the pan tighten down. Had to clear out the drilled bolt holes in wooden handle. Solidly built, blue color finish looks new even after mixing cement in it.

Wasn't hard to assemble. This is a sturdy wheelbarrow when carrying 150 lbs of dirt.

Perfect size 5 cubic ft, Heavy duty will last a lifetime.
