I have used the griddle multiple in a couple of weeks. One of the best KJ accessories I have.

This is the ONLY way to fix steak and the best cheeseburgers EVER! Filet Mignon - grill set up : half moon indirect heat, iron half moon direct heat. When the temperature is 250, throw in a chunk of hickory and place the coarse sea salt and fresh ground black peppered steak on the indirect side, when dome temperature reaches 450, place a little butter on the flat iron griddle for each steak...sear... repeat the square of butter for each steak when you flip the meat. (I also sear the steak briefly on all sides...), probe with a meat thermometer and when desired temperature is achieved.... you will Thank me

I did not like it because this is not an open door cook, you are not going to use it as often for the type of grill you’re buying. I wish I could still return it lol

Great for grilling vegetables. So much more control than just putting them over the coals. Fairly easy to clean up. Well seasoned. Have not had issue with food sticking to it.

I'm not 100% certain if I'm using it correctly, there are almost no details about which accessories work together. I have a fitment issue when used with my "divide and conquer". It doesn't sit "flat" and I certainly wasn't expecting to lose food to the fire box while sauteing.

The cast iron heats up evenly, so I get a consistent cook every time. Flipping it over to use the flat side for pancakes and the ridged side for meat is a game-changer. Easy to clean too, just a quick scrub and it's good to go. The weight is heavy, but that's expected with cast iron, and it actually helps with heat retention. Fits well in my Kamado Joe and I haven't had any issues with warping or anything. Definitely a solid buy, no regrets.

Grilled Scallops. More than once.... this is a must have!

Already developing rust spots before first use on the flat side. Went to go cook salmon on it for the first time and disappointed to see rust before i ever got started with it. As expensive as Kamado Joe accessories are I expect better quality.

It fits and works well, but I guess I'm not sure how best/easiest to clean it.

This is great for most cooks. Anything greasy will end up in the bottom of your JOE!
