Hello. The hope is yes, that you will never have a fire and therefore never need a fire extinguisher. Thank you for your review. You will want to do a quick visual inspection every month just to make sure the gauge is in the green and the pin is intact and that the extinguisher doesn't look damaged in any way.

Hello. This extinguisher has 5 lbs of extinguishing dry powder ABC agent and is considered a 5 lb extinguisher.
