[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knowing that KitchenAid is Whirlpool's premium brand, I expected the materials used in the fridge to feel premium. The outer handles have some heft, but all the interior components (shelves, drawers, etc) all feel like light, cheap plastic. There's no weight or nice feel to them at all. They even kind of wiggle along their track as you close them. I was expecting much more out of their top of the line product offering.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would have appreciated having the same size refrigerator upon replacement. It wasn't clear to me that I could have chosen a different one. The replacement I received was 3 cubic feet smaller than the one that died.

This refridgerator heats up on the front edge between the doors of the refridgerator and the freezer. Both doors are warm to the touch and when the refridgerator door is open, the exposed strip which runs along the front of the refridgeror is hot enough to burn the skin. We are told this is "normal". Items placed in the door racks are kept warm rather than cold. Do not recommend this item. We are having buyers regret!

This refrigerator limits your ability to store anything. The shelves are fixed; therefore,, you have to adjust your storage items with very little flexibility. Everyone who has seen our refrigerator says they would never buy this or any other related product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just replaced our old Kitchen Aide refrigerator with a new Kitchen Aide refrigerator. We couldn’t be happier. We love the brighter interior lighting and the wine storage feature. The ice maker is fast and the measured water feature is awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking fridge! Like the small ice cubes and their speedy production. Wish the vegetable bin was a little deeper and rolled easier. LED lighting is great inside and enjoy how the water dispenser will measure in either ounces or cups. Have owned it almost a month and seems like a quality product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased one month ago. Pros are that the counter depth is perfect in my small kitchen, and the stainless steel is nice. Cons are the plastic drawers are cheaply made/don’t fit well, bottle/can rack is in awkward position frequently dropping bottles/cans to tempered shelf below, and refrig door squeaks with each opening.

7 years 3 refrigerators and it is broken again. Refrigator will not cool. Ice forms in the back. Every month I have to turn it off, use a hair dryer to defrost. Tech has been here multiple times. DONE WITH THIS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would love to give it 5 stars but it’s not the quality I thought it would be. The doors are uneven since the quality assurance team installed two right side gaskets instead of one right side and one left side and yes there is a difference. The drawers don’t slide like a high end refrigerator should. It seems to keep things cold but I’ve only had it for 2 months. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon installing the unit there was a knocking sound when closing the freezer door. I immediately reported it to Bouche Appliances and also to kitchenaid. A service tech was sent the next week and a part was ordered for the knocking freezer door. Next week there was another service call to correct the issue. The knocking sound continued after said change and the tech called kitchenaid and after conversing with someone there he informed me the knocking sound in the freezer door was normal. But they had changed a part that supposedly was the cause. Now another service call is pending for another tech to come and evaluate the issue. Kitchenaid customer service adviced me that they only do service calls for warrantie issues and they do not exchange units. I asked the person to please put that in the log for this issue and here we are…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this for about 5 weeks. It is a great fit for our kitchen. Looks sharp, clean with a nice finish. The onky drawback is the vegtabke drawer is very rough and clumpsy opening and closing. Not sure if its a defect or poor design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had this unit just over a month, but initial impressions are all positive. Size is just right for the two of us, yet roomy enough when hosting overnight guests. Fit and finish are excellent throughout and controls are intuitive with a little practice. Curious to see how/if it holds up AFTER the warranty expires. We purchased from a local dealer who services ONLY what they sell, instead of at a discounted big box store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately our max height is 69.25 inches and counter depth. Really only two choices, this and a Whirlpool. After 3 weeks, so far so good, ice maker works well and fridge side is very cold. Drawers are on the shallow side, but good overall arrangement. Visually very nice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The plastic kickplate on the bottom arrived a little bent, and I can’t get one of the doors to stop squeaking. I think it’s the best I could do for the space that I had available. I do like the side by side doors. The interior drawers are a little flimsy But have decent space.

Needed a small side by side for the kitchen located next to the entry from the drop zone area. The entry wall is only 27 inches and this fit perfectly in the location. However, the cost of this smaller unit was almost twice as much as a normal side by side. That being said it has plenty of options and is working great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a whirlpool fridge, microwave, oven and range with the house we built and three years later the refrigerator stopped working. The replacement, since the whirlpool model was no longer available, was a KichenAid counter depth of similar specs. It has very little room inside. It came with a ridiculous wine rack that we immediately removed. The ice maker stopped working after two months. I didn’t realize how poor the quality of these products is and it’s very disappointing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator less than 30 days ago and have very disappointed in the noise level which is one of my top priorities. One of the main reasons that I went with the Kitchen Aid was that it was supposed to be very quiet which turned out to be not true. The compressor on the unit runs at a very high level (loud) and for a long time being extremely loud at various times. Also the ice maker water valve is also very loud I can actually hear it run upstairs which can be embarrasing with people in the room. The Kitchen Aid is actually louder than my old Frigidaire unit which is hard to believe. Consequently would definitely not recommend this unit or Kitchen Aid for the noise level of this refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator replaces an old Kitchenaid model that we had with similar dimensions. It is very sleek and well made. Side shelves are glass and very sturdy, unlike our older model which was made of plastic The only slight drawback is that this one is not quite as deep, so large packages of meat stick out. Freezer is quite small because of the built in ice maker. But overall happy with the purchase.
