Dishwasher was installed yesterday and is leaking from two different locations on the first wash. The door closes with a gap on the right and leaks from that side. There are four small holes on the upper right side of the unit that are not on the upper left. Water is leaking from that area as well. I have no confidence in quality of the product, I’ll be returning rather than exchanging. Disappointing for a $900 dishwasher. I would listen to the reviews about poor quality and leaking, wish I had.

I took me a little bit to figure out that the buttons are ULTRA sensitive and you just barley touch it with you finger to make your selection. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washes great but pumps are very loud and have a whine noise to them. This noise is not constant and only at certain times. Sounds like pump is struggling which is scary considering it's brand new.

Really nice looking dishwasher (stainless black). It fits a LOT of dishes. The third rack is really handy, particularly for our smaller cups, smaller school lunch box pieces and large knives. Everything comes out clean and dry, and this dishwasher is virtually silent. We couldn’t even tell it was on except for walking over and seeing the light. Even when draining it was silent. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher died and my wife said she wanted a new one before Christmas, when a bunch of family would be at our home. So we went shopping and we found this one and it is a "Jim Dandy"! Neat features like that Third Rack, Whoopee! Now the fact that it does the job of cleaning the dishes is a handy feature too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher (a 5 year old Frigidaire) was adequate, but extremely noisy and competed with the TV. The new KitchenAid does a great job in cleaning, and is so quiet that I have to look at the indicator lights to see if it is running. The engineers/designers gave some good thought to the use of that top rack. It holds a good quality of glasses and cups and overall we are able to get about 1/3 more items into this dishwasher.

It’s great and you can put so many dishes in which cuts down on how many times it needs run. Highly recommend this beautiful appliance!

This dishwasher works well and is quiet. BUT, if you hear a loud grinding noise there is a filter in the motor that’s a metal screen and likes to shred itself apart, which leads to clogging the spray arms. Very common problem with these dishwashers. Happened after only two years.

It does a great job cleaning, has lots of useful features, and it is so quiet I have been staying next to it and didn't realize my husband had started a wash. I love the large basket it has for utensils. The other brands I looked at had very small baskets where you'd end up having to pretty much hand wash utensils. The Free Flex third rack is a great additional feature! Lots of room in this thing for larger loads. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a dishwasher!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought the dishwasher about a month ago right before thanksgiving and we love it. Handled the heavy loads with ease. The third tray on top is very useful.

We have not used a better dishwasher in our entire lives! We have already had 3 dishwashers in this household and this one is a 10/10 or a 5-star rating. 1. Our favorite wash cycle which saves electricity: ProWash. The wash cycle ProWash is fantastic! You save electricity and give instead away real clock time. With lightly solid dishes, such as only glasses or plates that were rinsed by my old fashioned father, the wash is only about 90 minutes long. With normal soil, which is the 'recommended' way to use it as it saves you water and time by rinsing manually - just make sure you remove any peels or large food parts / or paper labels as these are bad for the dishwasher, the unit then runs at about 3 hours. Both cycles include normal dry cycle. 2. Cabinet Dry. The dishes are dry... VERY dry. Using the 'extended' dry button, Yes, it is true: you will not have more than a few drops on any dishes when you open the unit right after it ends its cycle and has the white 'clean' light lit. The first day I had the Extended dry option set, based on reading reviews that plastic tupper ware inside will be drop-free, and there were actually no drops on them! I had to take a few pictures. So I did. For all of you. 3. Nothing to rinse! This is nothing new the last 10 years but zero-rinse. So you'll still have people who are old fashioned around you will rinse dishes. But you shouldn't. The cycle on the dishwasher for normal and ProWash are: 1 rinse which is extended on the ProWash program if there is extra soil, next Wash, and finally Rinse and Final-rinse so you are looking at 4 different cycles before the 5th dry cycle begins. Having only owned this unit for about one week, I will update this review. Note check back: I will be updating this review as the year continues on!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement for a kitchen-aide dishwasher that “died” after about 15 years of hard use. Wife likes it and no issues YET. Hopefully it will give us many years of service like the replaced one. She does not like the fact that it is NOT as user friendly to TURN OFF the heat cycle as the old one. She prefers to let the dishes dry naturally to get more like out of the machine’s heating element.

I do not like the bar handle on the exterior door as it sticks out too far to open I cannot open 1of my drawers without opening the door of the dishwasher. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace our old leaking dishwasher and it's sooo much better! We were in the market for a 3rd-rack dishwasher and this one had the deepest one. We love the spray tubes that rotate under the 3rd rack, it's surprisingly effective and saves us a lot of space for bowls and small plates on the 2nd rack. With a family of 5 we go through a lot of dishes quickly, so this has been used a lot since we purchased it a month ago. I tested each of the cycles with our usual full load of dirty dishes and we found this to work the best for us: Express Wash, no prewash, with rinse aid, and heated dry. It actually gets the dishes spot free clean and dry in about 2 hours with less detergent than our old washer! Plus its really quiet, we can only hear it when the pump is draining water into the disposer. The only cons I can come up with are my own troubles during installation, but it had nothing to do with the dishwasher itself.
