But it is very time consuming and can be inconsistent every time I make it. So I decided to buy this stand mixer, with all the research it is known to be the best mixers! I absolutely love this mixer!! I can’t believe I went this long without one! I now make pizza and bread dough like a professional, I’m really impressed and absolutely recommend this mixer! It is solidly made looks great in my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very sad goodbye. The white KitchenAid was given to me by my mother over 30 years ago. She did a lot of baking and even made wedding cakes. She had it for about 15 years before giving it to me. So, after 45+ years of service it died. I repaired the old one a few times, but now it is beyond repair. So, I replaced it with this new one. It is amazing how much they haven't changed... And that's a good thing. It feels odd bc this one has no history. ❤️🤷🏼‍♂️❤️ So, I bake weekly and will build new memories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this one to replace my old one I had for many years and loved. My older model white one shot fire out the back recently while baking cookies with my granddaughter. I didn’t realize there are different motors in different models; I only looked for the quart size when replacing it. The new Artisian one doesn’t have same strength motor as my previous one. This one is not as powerful for making my German Christmas cookies and Christollen dough. It bogs down, the beater rises out of the dough and it jumps on the counter trying to mix the heavy doughs. I don’t have much choice but to sell it and get a different model w a better motor. It’s also SO heavy, I struggle to move it from bakers rack to counter.

I decided on this mixer and am so far very happy with it. I love making ice cream with it and it works great for beating and mixing all kinds of food. I still need to learn more about is features, hopefully during Xmas baking, before i can give it five stars 🙂👍

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new 5 quart mixer. I was using a 4.5 quart and can't believe the difference such a small amount makes. So much room and less flour spilling out! And I can give my 4.5 quart to my granddaughter.

I purchased this because I heard they are built to last but within a dozen uses the head would start to get hot and smell of burning oil on the “stir” and “2” setting. Now when I mix cookie or bread dough the head overheats and starts to smoke.

It does wobble on dough on some speeds, I can’t remember what can or can’t go in the dish washer- so it’s all washed by hand. I grabbed a pasta roller and that’s been fun too, but putting it in correctly and locking it in place is a little blind, it once spun scratching an attachment. Had this 2 months.

My last mixer was an old Sunbeam model and last year we honestly had to spin the bowl by hand to make it work. I always thought that today's mixer market was outrageously overpriced and that I would NEVER spend that amount on a mixer. Ever. However, with Thanksgiving coming and my old Sunbeam giving up the ghost, I had to have a new mixer. I researched for 4 days, every brand and every price, but I kept coming back to the Kitchen Aid website. Finally, after all my research and reading thousands of reviews from all the brands, I finally decided to make my investment into the most expensive mixer I would ever purchase, but before I could commit to the sale, my wonderful and handsome partner decided to make the move for me and he purchased me a 4.5 quart tilt head Artisan Kitchen Aid mixer! I reacted as if he had bought me a brand new car lol, I was beside myself with joy! This year, EVERYTHING I made for Thanksgiving with that mixer, dishes I've made for years, turned out beautifully and everyone kept asking me what did I do to change my recipes to such wonderful eats! I love this mixer and wish I had gotten one a lot sooner. Swallow hard if you have to, but believe me you won't regret one dime that you spend on this product and on this brand!!

It is very sturdy mixer with an elegant look, with lots of features and lots of accessories to choose from. We already got the KitchenAid meat grinder as an accessory and we are very pleased how they work together . Overall I think there is no better choice on the market for this category of small appliances. We recommend it for sure!

Kitchenaid isn't what it used to be. It's a shame. On my mother's kitchen aid (anout 15 yrs old) she used to grind up meat all the time. She let me borrow her meat grinder for my new kitchen aid and it won't push the meat through the holes. Bummer. HUGE let down!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been holding out on buying this mixer for at least 10 years due to the price which isn’t cheap, and I finally gave in and bought it. I’m glad I did because it’s a game changer. I bake a lot and this mixer is making all the difference in time spent in the kitchen. It’s a very heavy mixer but I don’t have to worry about it tilting over because it’s sturdy. It was ready to go straight out of the box and I immediately made a pound cake that came out perfectly. Batter was so smooth and no more holding the manual mixer while trying to pour ingredients. Made a frosted chocolate cake from scratch for the first time and it was so moist and perfect. Has a splash guard and multiple mixing tools. The stand is beautiful and looks fabulous on the kitchen counter. I’m telling myself that this is an investment that will last a lifetime and it is truly worth the the money. I have no regrets and if you like to bake, you really need this product.

I recently received my much anticipated mixer, when I unboxed it, I found the flat beater’s coating is already chipped. I’ve never used it before and was disappointed at the quality of the coating.

Recently I’ve been milling my own flour and that’s been taxing the motor of my old mixer. This new one is totally up to the challenge. We made pasta yesterday using a kitchen aid pasta attachment. All went well and it made wonderful pasta from the home milled flour. Love this mixer!
