Reads great accurate temp

The clamp read 40 degrees off, returned it. It also did not work/hold well on small copper pipes.

It seems like a very nice clamp. However, the blades on the plug are so thin that they do not hold firm when plugged in. When reading temperature, I have to use two hands and wiggle around the plug until it hits just the right spot to get a temperature reading. I gave 2 stars because when you finally fo get the right spot, thw clamp senses the temperature quickly. Otherwise it would have been 0 stars.

Works really good with the type K connector. It gives accurate reading, however, with the banana type connector it reads from 40's to 100's

We bought two of these and they are anywhere from 12-20 degrees f different from each other when they are one omg apart. I wouldn’t recommend these to anyone.

Great clamp for reading line temps to calculate superheat and subcooling. Would definitely recommend.

I really like this product , and I have a large variety of different tools and meters and I have a large variety of clamps that I use for checking temperature differences and this clamp is very accurate in temperature indicated and is very easy to clamp on a variety of sizes of pipping , whether it is copper , galvanized , or some other type material it will give you an accurate reading ,.

Klein 69140 K Type Temperature Clamp for Digital Multi Meters – This Temperature clamp is nicely designed and far easier to use than the older contact temperature probes which had to held on a surface until the temperature was correctly calculated…At times the temperature has to be taken more than once if the technician had their fingers to close to the probe / bulb…I tested this temperature clamp measuring the temperature of bus bars in a distribution switch gear…I also gave the temperature clamp to a HVAC technician to check the temperature of copper refrigeration lines on heat pumps…The temperature clamp performed well and neither myself or the HVAC technician experienced any problems or issues…

I ordered the KLEIN CL310 400 amp digital clamp meter from HOME DEPOT awhile back and really like it small and does everything I need in a meter. It came with thermocouple and its very handy but I wanted to be able to do more hands free with the temperature setting and this pipe clamp is perfect. I can use it to service AC units and in heating for temperature drops thru valves and traps and setting water temperatures its a very handy add on to any digital meter with a temperature setting. Anyone who works on HVAC systems should have one a nice tool.
