We are glad to hear that you had no issues with the shiplap. Yes, it is very important to paint this as this is only primed. To get the clean finished look this will need to painted to your favorite color.

THE PRODUCT IS NICE AM PLEASED HOW IT LOOKED. PROBLEM WAS GETTING ACTION ON DELIVERY. ORDERED ON APRIL 12. WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE DELIVERED APRIL 18. WAS NOT. WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE DELIVERED APRIL 24. IT WAS NOT! ORDER WAS LOST. HAD TO REORDER. WAS PROMISED EXPRESS SHIPPING STILL TOOK 2 WEEKS

I like that there were several boards in 1 box and the price was right, but the white finish on the boards was cheap looking. Several boards arrived chipped and painted uneven. But we just painted them ourselves after we put them up, and they look great. Has the classic “nickel” spacing, and the boards were were very easy to cut. Distributor was a little hard to contact and boards did not arrive when supposed too. Took an extra couple of days then expected. Honestly, if I had to do all over again, I’d buy somewhere else.

Material is very fragile. Also nail flange is too...
Material is very fragile. Also nail flange is too small, will show staples or nails unless you get really close to edge and then edge deforms with staple gun. Other that that easy to cut and very true.

I ordered eight boxes to be delivered to my home - they showed up when they promised and the ship lap boards were very well packaged with virtually zero damage. They look awesome in our home!

This product has a terrible smell that has not gone away after a week. The primer on a couple of the boards was bumpy. I do not recommend this product.
