This is one heavy duty grinder. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. It's replacing a LEM #8 grinder that still works fine after 16 years. Decided to go with a model that grinds more meat faster. I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

I use it for dog food. It grinds up the meat and bones. It doesn’t do as well on frozen vegetables. If I am not careful it will stop grinding. I believe it literally freezes up the grinder. Also, the drawer does not stay closed. Apparently there is a manufacturer issue. I’m waiting on the replacement components to fix it. Customer service at LEM are very helpful. Home Depot customer service reps are really helpful. I love doing business with HD.

Purchased this to make dog food. So far having this machine has saved so much time in prep. Also peace of mind that the (small) bones that we grind are easier for my small dogs to digest.

This thing is heavy and freaking awesome. Grimds through chicken and bone like no tomorrow. Super easy to clean and very heavy duty. I am so impressed.

This is a very good grinder. Just wish it had reverse. But overall I am very happy with it.

I reviewed this grinder and the 1.5 hp Cabelas. I liked the features of this one better and its made in the us. Cabelas is made in china. I have done 1 deer with it it did amazing far better than my other cabelas one I had. I used it to also stuff summer sausage case it worked great. I would highly recommend this grinder.

Love this! So far I have used it to grind whole chicken and whole Turkey with bone and all. It worked effortlessly. I called it a Cadillac compared to the one I had before.

Originally bought this grinder to make dog food. Not a cheap purchase by any means but I felt that if I bit the bullet it would be worth it over the long-term. So far it has met all my expectations. Grinds chicken bones quickly and with ease. Very easy to keep clean as well. Now that I have it I am interested in using it for making my own ground beef/sausage etc.

We make our own deer sausage and brats and really love the LEM equiptment.

We bought this grinder to make our own dog food for five of our dogs. We have grinded whole chickens, veggies and fruits with no problems. We also love the five year warranty. We would definitely recommend this grinder to anyone.

This thing is a beast. I use it for grinding chicken quarters for raw dog food. I’ve ran at least 500 pounds of quarters through it in a month and it has ran flawlessly. You can’t feed this thing fast enough.Clean up is really easy. The only thing I didn’t like was the safety guard, so I removed.
