I wanted a reversible door because it is installed in a corner with the wall on the right side. The specs indicated that the door is reversible, but I was unable to get instructions on how to do this, and whether or not any special parts were needed. Calls to LG were fruitless. The answer is that there is only one special part- a plastic cover for the top of the hinge- and this comes with the fridge. Note that there were no instructions in the installation procedures about how to reverse the door. Fortunately, my installer was experienced and was able to figure it out. From what I could tell, the hinges are simply turned over to reverse the door opening. Two people did this since one was needed to hold the door while the other person attached the hinge. Note that the door has pockets on both sides to accommodate opening regardless of which side the door is mounted on. Also note that if your fridge is up against a wall, you need some space in order to reach in with your hand to grab the pocket. About an inch of space would be good. I just had the fridge installed, so I can't comment on its operation. I like the layout, but I don't care for the pull outs which are rather cheap plastic. I like the manual ice tray, since I did not want to run a water line to the fridge, and it does not take up much space. I would buy this again, and hope I feel the same way after running it.

I did a lot of research before I bought this. Consumer reviews rates LG very well. I needed a counter model with a certain height and width. Some mode.so aren’t available in 2022 because of the supply chain issues and I couldn’t wait. I’ve had it about 5 weeks and I love it. For a family of 4 it might be more of a challenge, but I remind myself up until the year 2000 I had one about the same size, and it didn’t have an ice maker or an automatic defrost! I love the little ice maker and haven’t had any problems with it.

Great fridge. the only thing I don't like is there is no light for the freezer

We’ve had this fridge for four years. Purchased due to compact size. The fuse in the defrost heater went out after four years of use and we’re having an impossible time finding anyone that will work w LG fridges. We finally got someone. It took them two weeks to come look at it and now it’ll be another two weeks before they can get the part and get back to us. LG is covering the cost but this has been a major headache. I’ll never by an LG appliance again.

Perfect fit for my small kitchen.

This is essentially a $1200 waste of money. we switched the doors around, which of course voids any kind of warranty. Followed the directions to a T and the door is sagging and now we have to push it closed to ensure it is closed completely. it has been installed for less than a year and after about 7 months the door started giving us problems. If it is meant to open both ways, why is there an issue? Soooooooo frustrating with the low quality of this!

I haven’t used it because your dimensions were off it was bigger than what you told me it was going to be so it doesn’t fit under my cabinet

I love this refrigerator. It keeps everything super cold in the frig,. and frozen solid in the freezer. The lights are terrific: I don't need to turn on any lights at night. The freezer shelves/drawers are very helpful to divide the things I freeze. I just love this refrigerator!!!!

The top is "unfinished." No panel and not flat. You can't put anything on top of it. No panel available. We would not have purchased this had we realized. Description and pictures do not describe/show the top.

Nice simple frindge with drawers in freezer. No ice maker, but cute little built in ice cube trays. Perfect for my little rancher kitchen. Very quiet. Love the door alarm.

Turns out LG has just made it look like it has an automatic ice maker, but it’s just a freezer tray in there — deceptively misleading. Overall, it’s over priced. Definitely a $750 refrigerator with some minor aesthetics to make it seem higher quality.

Happy with this fridge so far!

Excellent very quiet compact fridge. Bottom freezer with drawers is easily accessed. Freezer door must be opened all the way to slide out the bottom two drawers and get to the manual ice maker. Ice cubes from the manual ice maker are on the small side. I definitely recommend this fridge for a small household.

Works great, but the door hangs crookedly and is not level with the rest of the refrigerator.

For a smaller counter depth fridge this is well organized and can store a lot. My only complaint so far is that the ice cube tray/storage bin is not practical and insufficient. Would’ve preferred a couple of shelves to put conventional ice trays in.

Can on the delivery date and in excellent condition.

As a caveat, I had the refrigerator for a day, I’ll update later if my opinion changes. The refrigerator is great if you have a small kitchen. I love that it is counter-depth, which makes my galley kitchen feel bigger. It is small but is set up so you can adjust the shelving to use the space efficiently based on your needs. I wouldn’t say it’s silent, it does make a little noise but it’s quieter than my last refrigerator. I only hear if I have all other noise (tv and music) and am standing very close to it. The only con so far is that the drawers are kinda flimsy. I thought about taking a star off for this, but if you are looking for a refrigerator of this size without spending a ton of money, I’m not sure there is a better option. Hopefully LG can improve this in future versions. The finish of the stainless steel looks great too.

For a small refrigerator it is the top of the line.

Liked the features but 18 months in it just stops working. LG warranty service was abysmal. This is my last LG appliance.

The refrigerator works great for its size. I’ve had the unit for one month. Plenty of room inside the regrigerator and freezer. I only wish that water filters could be incorporated with smaller units such as this LG. Great purchase so far.

The fridge is a good size and I like that it is bottom freezer. they need to change it so that the customer can reverse the door.
