Wrong Color
These hinges are supposed to have copper accents, but the accents are RED paint. This is not at all what I paid for.

1980s hinge replacement!! well
This hinge was to replace my old 1980s kitchen cabinet door hinges that not closing anymore, it's a bit shorter than the old one, so what's the change for.. anyway it's a good value and quality so I do recommend it

Good Quality

Great Quality
I purchased other brands but they didn't close properly. These Liberty self closing work perfectly. I would definitely recommend them and the price was reasonable.

Look good
The black matte looks very good. We replaced the hinges on some kitchen cabinets that we painted a gorgeous blue. The results were good. Every hinge worked well.

color issues
I ordered these hinges based on the images on the website matching what I was working to replace.
However, what I received did not match the description.
The base bronze was painted a close bronze color but the copper highlights were RED paint (yes, actually red) and clearly not a copper color at all.
I have never had this issue with home depot products before I hope it is a one off issue.

Doesnt quite fit.
My cabinets are from the 50s and i decided to paint them but when i took the hinges off they broke in the process so i bought these that looked similar. They dont fit that great. They leave about a half inch gap inbetween cabinet and cabinet door

4 months later.
I bought these hinges 4 months ago now and they are literally falling apart. The bottom screw within the hinge is coming out out and I am worried about them becoming a choking hazard if found on the floor by my toddler. Do not buy. They are not well made and dangerous.

Great hinges. Quiet and well constructed. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that the copper highlight does not match the copper highlight of the matching handle. The highlight of the handle is red so we lightly sanded off the red color on the edges that are visible on the outside of rhe door. Now they match perfectly and I love it.

NOT an oiled rubbed bronze hinge. These are black with a reddish brown stripe painted down the edge.. they do not match the pulls of the same brand, which do look like oil rubbed bronze. Will be returning these and buying something that matches my pulls.

Not a perfect replacement for my Merrilat bathroom cabinet, but close enough.
It closed fine but was not a snug fit, due to the fact that this part was not a perfect replacement.
It need to sit tighter to the main part of the cabinet. I solved the problem by inserting a #8 washer behind the screw hole, closest to the hinge.
Be aware: the screws come in two sizes - long for he outer 2 and short for the inner three.

The Home Depot carries a large selection of hinges for multiple uses. I couldn't decide just what I wanted or needed, but I chose the self-closing overlay cabinet hinge, to try, being assured if it wasn't what I wanted , I certainly could change it. It gives a country look to a vintage piece, that I had chalk painted, it includes the screws for installation.

These hinges will go perfectly with our recently purchased cabinet knobs and pulls. This is a high quality, self-closing hinge. They really stand out with our new paint color on the cabinets. I installed these right in the holes where the old worn brass ones were which made it easy. I used a low powered battery screwdriver and did not have any problems with the supplied screws stripping out. Would definitely recommend these 100 %.
