I have found that Link2Home outlets, specifically the 10-Watt Space Saver Pop Up-Outlet, meets my needs. It's designed to sit flush within a desk, conference table, night stand, or the like. In this position Then with a push it pops up to reveal 3 outlets and two ports, USB-C and USB-A. My favorite part is the induction (wireless) charger on the top, which I use to charge my phone. Overall the component feels expertly crafter, as its very sturdy with some weight to it, not some flimsy plastic piece. It's also splash proof for unexpected messes and the outlets are grounded. The Link2Home Pop Up Socket is both functional and stylish. Additionally, I am quite impressed with its overall quality. I received this product without charge in exchange for my honest review.

The top wireless charger is a bonus. I gave 4 stars since I feel it maybe hard for an older person to push down on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product (the 3-Outlets Space Saver Pop Up Socket, Receptacle) enhanced my desk at home that I use for everything: work, repairs, crafts, painting. I own an antique store, so I do a little bit of everything. Initially, I considered using it for my kitchen counter top but it is granite. I did not want to mess up my granite. The outlet angles proved challenging for tools with bulky box/square plugs. If your devices have standard plugs, you will have no problems. I love the fact that I can hide it! When I am finished, I just press it down and I have my nice clear desk back.
 The plug’s functionality makes it ideal for many different pieces: side table, nightstand, or anywhere extra plugs are needed without the hassle of extension cords.

It offers three grounded outlets, a type A and type C USB outlet, which meets all of my needs. Im really pleased with it! It’s so useful for my home office. It’s different than an extension cord because you install it into your desk, and you can pop it up when using it. The install is simple too! It looks and feels way more efficient than cords I have used before. The silver and black color is sleek and would match most offices! Cord management is much easier, and it really makes for a clean and organized workspace. I like the aesthetic of it. The type C has been really good to charge my phone and have it beside me while I work. It charges pretty quickly also! Overall, if you want to upgrade your desk, or your home office this is a great addition! Recommend for anyone looking for an efficient, clean looking environment. He is about to use his phone, plus so many of his tools at once! I pop up feature is really nice as it makes storage once in the table much easier. I do recommend this product if you have a table you're willing to cut a hole in. Perfect for work stations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally got this thinking it was a collapsible and would sit on my desk. My mistake. For this to sit correctly you need to drill a whole into the desk and attach where only the top half can be seen. Withthat said it works fine. Has 3 3-pronged outlets and two USB outlets. It's very well made. The spring inside is sturdy to will take a little bit of force to collapse the top. Can easily mount to a desk up to 2 1/2 inches thick maybe a little more. Once the whole is cut unscrew the bottom and insert the into the hole. Then screw the bottom back on to lock in place. You don't have to but you can screw the bottom into the desk for extra tightning but I don't believe you have to.

One thing that annoys me about my home is that I don't have nearly enough outlets. In our modern world, almost everything needs to be plugged in. I used to have to unplug one thing in order to plug in another. However, since I got this nifty little pop up outlet, life has gotten better. I had three grounded outlets, and two usb ports on it. It is small enough to fit anywhere. I keep mine on the kitchen island so that it's easy for our whole family to access. It is splash-proof, so that eliminates a lot of worry. The cord is six feet long, so it makes things easy when positioning it in a convenient spot. When it's not in use, it's effortless to simply push down on the unit, and all of the outlets disappear. This is a very necessary item for most households. It is reasonably priced, and high quality. I trust this brand to produce innovative items that I truly need in my home. This pop up outlet device has honestly improved my life.

It saves space and enables me to have a professional and organized work space! I hate clutter and I love proper cable management so this product is right up my alley. The design was well thought out and the product is well made. The stainless steel finished cover slides over the plug and port when its not in use for a seamless look. It is easy to install and worked just as it was intended. I love that I am not limited to where I can put it. Either way I've managed to make it work perfect for me. I just have to set it upside down or it won't sit flat but it's great for 3 outlets and two charger cords with the USB ports

Very well made product. Easy to install. The pop up feature works well but the units spring shoots it up very fast. Vendor should add a device to slow down the speed this opens. I'm concerned it may fail over time using this much force to open.

This product is perfect for the project I needed it for. In remodeling my kitchen there was an inconveniently placed outlet on the backside of the island, I moved outlet inside cabinet and installed pop up outlet in the countertop. It looks great and is finally usable power source. My only complaint is that it doesn't always pop up easily. Sometimes needs encouragement to pop up.

The Link 2 Home Space Saver Pop Up Outlet solves a unique problem for me and a favorite “powered” recliner that members of my family like to move about the living room (or den). I mounted the Space Saver Pop Up Outlet in a self-built stand rather than into the wood flooring. I pieced together a cubicle stand to protect the pop up mechanism. (A simple wooden box could house the pop up outlet instead of hand-made stand.) The pop up outlets require a minimum of 3.9 inches below the Stainless Steel, retractable top cap. I bored a 4 inch hole in the center of a square piece of ¾ inch board through which I mounted the Pop Up outlet. The USB ports and the 120VAC outlets can remain hidden when cables are not connected—which is not very often because—one USB port powers a tablet computer; the second sustains a cell-phone battery. The 120Volt AC outlets power the motorized chair reclining mechanism, a reading lamp, and a vibrating chair-pad with internal heat coils. All these items usually, follow the recliner wherever it is relocated. The added feature of portability really comes in handy. The 6 foot supply cord of the Pop Up Outlet easily reaches the nearest home AC outlet—leaving the tangle of cables to be easily bundled and tucked from view. The Link2Home Space Saver Pop Up Outlet provides overload protection, is splash resistant, and is capped with tough Stainless Steel. This is a multi-use device that looks very innocuous when pressed down and not in use.

Beautiful design, solid unit, heavy duty cord. The look is great and very handy. It is way bigger than the pictures and its a bit deceiving from the picture, needs a 2.5” hole the hole in my desk was 2.25" It fitted in the space I had under the shelf of my desk. I only gave it a 4 star because I felt the charger should have been more powerful it is not a fast charger. Has a good slide and doesn't stick out of the back of the desk to far.

It is an excellent product and seems to be made well. The only reason for four stars and not five is the entire thing is made out of plastic. It seems to suffer because of that and can sometimes be hard to move up and down. It is not horrible, just plastic and does not feel as strong as something of this nature should be. With that said, I keep it at four stars because it seems to work great beyond that. Sometimes the little USB section of the popup will be slightly off level. This is because it is plastic and nothing more. The USB section is the only part that pops up when you press on it. The entire cylinder has to be pulled up to expose the outlets. When it is in the up position, there is a small silver tab that holds it up. I am not sure how long this tab will last, but it seems to be okay for the last 30 days of regular use. I use the plugs for my laptops on the desk; besides that, I use the USB more. I would buy it again, the price seems to be good for what you get, and the power output has not been lacking. It was very easy to install and the cord is long enough to reach any outlet I need it to.

I used this pop up outlet at my sit stand computer desk to help reduce the tangle of electric wires. It's working perfectly. I plugged my monitor, printer & desk light into the AC outlets & plugged my MP3 player & cell phone charging cords into the two USB outlets. It is a great convenience being able to always have the USB charging outlets close to my computer desk & not have to use my limited computer USB outlets. The USB outlets charged both my MP3 player & cell phone, perfectly. Having the AC outlets so close to the electrical components cuts down on the tangle of wires hanging down & around the desk. Even though one of the power cords has a transformer on the end, the pop up outlet's round design allowed me to plug in all 3 AC power cords, without the power cord plugs interfering with each other. The pop up outlet's 14 AWG heavy duty, 6' long power cord is easily able to handle my electrical components. The installation was very easy. I used a 4" dia. hole saw on a heavy duty electric drill to cut the hole for the pop up outlet. Then I slipped the outlet into the hole, screwed on & hand tightened the locking flange ring, from the bottom. Even though I only hand tightened the locking flange ring, the rubber gasket prevented the outlet from moving, or swiveling & held the outlet solidly in place. I used a gentle push down, on top of the pop up outlet module, to raise the pop up outlet from it's closed, flush with the desktop, position. When raised, in it's fully extended position, there is plenty of room to plug electrical power cords into it. We have periodic power failures, in our area. The overload protection, in this pop up outlet, will help protect my equipment. The instruction manual includes clear graphics & the instructions are easy to read & understand. This is a great, high quality, product, with an innovative solution to too many power cords around my computer work station.

Link2home 1-power outlet is a good addition to my bed headboard. Connection with my laptop and add a charger with mobile is east work on my bed. Installation require special tool for 2.5" hole and rest of the part is so simple. Very strong 6' cord is enough for connect with the existing socket. It is functional and useful addition in my bed room bed. I love the socket and usb charger. Safety also very high as it has a steel cover.

2 3/8" hole saw works fine. Superb enhancement to our conference table! I was concerned that the specs said it needs a 2.4 to 2.5 inch hole saw. 2 3/8" (2.375") is common for many door locks, and in my tool box. I tested it on a 1" piece of pine first, and found it fits well. Hole saws are unforgiving if your first hole is too small! But I thought I could let others know that this outlet works just fine with two and three eighths. Other reviewers have shown that the mount covers a hole up to 2" deep. My table was 1.5" and it works VERY well, with a total install time of 15 minutes. A trick for hole-saw drilling is that once you're about 3/4 of the way through, and the starter drill is poking through the bottom, turn around and come at it from underneath. That way, you get a clean break - even on pressboard (as so many tables are made from now). Our conference table is custom-made, so I was concerned, but you can see from the photos it looks perfectly fine. The chrome-finish sliding cover is professional, and the intro video in Link2Home's description above does a great job explaining both installation and use. Although I did NOT try the splash test, I'm confident that if someone spills coffee, we will be fine. The fact that there's a high-power USB port is icing on the cake. I would definitely buy this for any other table, desk or workbench use.

Link2Home has a great little power outlet every home needs. It is a mountable pop-up power outlet that supports 2 grounded 110V plugs and 2 USB ports. When mounted it sits flush with the surface area where all you see is the stainless steel chrome top and mounting ring. Depress it once and the outlet pops up exposing the USB ports, from there you can easily pull up the body to expose the power outlets. It is waterproof so may be mounted in any desired location. I plan on mounting mine in my shop so I can use 2 outlets for my tools and keep my phone charged at the same time.

I have these pre-drilled holes in my desk which I had always been running wires through to get to the plug behind the desk. I thought I would give this a try to clean up the look and not have to crawl underneath the desk every time I needed to plug something in. The outlet fit perfectly into the existing hole and the total installation process took less than a minute. The outlet itself works just as advertised and happy I decided to get it.

My observations of the install and usage: • Install is about 15-20 minutes, most of that is the cutting and fitting. Once the cutting is done it takes about 1 minute to get this up and running. • The pop up feature is really convenient. If you need the outlets just pull up and two outlets will pop up as well. • It has a stainless steel finish which looks good and mine had no scratches or imperfections. • When plugging and unplugging the unit felt stable. I was wondering about the stability so I was happy to see that. • Also easy to put the unit back into the table top with a gentle push. Overall, I like the unit. It really provides a clean, professional look. I installed mine in my garage to give me better access to outlets but especially the USB charging ports. I recommend.

If you are looking for a low-profile single grounded outlet with a USB port this Link2Home unit is it. I had been searching for a way to mount an outlet on my desk top but most power outlets are bulky and take up valuable space. The outlet requires you bore or cut a 2.5 inch hole on the surface and a little over 4 inches of space behind to mount properly. The 2.4A USB port charges up portable electronics at a fairly high rate. The outlet can handle up to 15amps and comes with a 6 foot 14AWG cord which in my case is more than long enough to reach the wall outlet. The stainless steel finished cover slides over the plug and port when not in use for a sleek clean appearance.
