The door seems to be of good quality but doesn't...
The door seems to be of good quality but doesn't fit as I thought it would. I had to create hinge cutouts and will most likely have to sand or somehow adjust the door to close.

Thank you for your feedback, HomeDepotCustomer. I apologize for any confusion on the trim allowance of these doors - the trim allowance for this slab is 1/8" on both sides as well as top and bottom. Trimming beyond this will void warranty and compromise the integrity of the door, however, if you need a door to a specific size, it can be ordered through the retailer in store through a special order. The door came with a hole for the door knob...
The door came with a hole for the door knob and I should have bought a door without the precut hole. We ended up cutting the top part of the door so the door knob fits as it should. I worried that a hollow core door being cut down wouldn't work, but we re-attached the end piece, which is a thin strip, at the top and it worked out. I don't recommend doing this Again, lesson learned, measure all aspects of the item, but the door is in and it looks great. If I had to do it again, I'd by a door w/o the precut door knob hole.
