Lack of communication
Custom ordered a pantry door for a customer and it took 6 weeks for it to come in. After it came in I went to pick it up and refused pick up because it was a hollow core bored door that the ordered description clearly stated solid core bored door. Millworks rep emailed and called, I called and was given no chain of command and was told by the customer service rep at Masonite, "You can't talk to anyone in the department that handles this. We will call you." Never again.

Horrible
I’ve been in construction for 40 years and these doors are the worst I’ve ever seen. I had to re-mortise every hinge. A simple hang a door has took an extra hour. Stay away.

Poorly made
Bought two and both were bad! One returned and the other we had to install and make major adjustments that shouldn’t have been needed.

Quality control on the doors is horrible. I had to search through several to find one that had the hinges even somewhat in alignment with each other. For the price these doors are that shouldn’t have to happen.

very nice door
I just installed one today to replace an old wood one that was rotting out on bottom. This is a 32x80 one i installed. 5 hours total out and in. Door seems of very good quality!!

Absolutely STAY AWAY from Masonite doors! Ours failed during Hurricane Irma and Masonite told us ...
Absolutely STAY AWAY from Masonite doors! Ours failed during Hurricane Irma and Masonite told us that it had NO warranty because it was sold to Home Depot by a third party vendor. Home Depot sold it knowing it would have no warranty. Masonite won't stand begins its product. I wouldn't give it even 1 star if I could. Buyer Beware!
