Another building store wanted $700 for door and hardware so I purchased this knotty pine for$199 and distressed it and stained and sealed it and it is beautiful. So glad we went this route. Overall we were super pleased with how these came out for the price. I hit them with a chain, laid a screw sideways and made marks all over to distress it. See pictures below….Used Minwax stain color “Provincial”,

The product is made better than I’d hoped and fits perfectly in the area I needed it to. All the hardware was there for any application I needed. Everyone that has seen it loves it!

The kit came with all the hardware you need to install the track on to different types of surfaces all parts including door were of very good quality the instructions were easy to follow and was not difficult to install I would recommend this item.

To my surprise the door construction was solid and tight. The quality of the rail and rollers were also top notch. I would definitely buy another and highly recommend it.

This was a easy project that we managed to complete in a day. I stained the door with WeatherWood in charred while my husband hung the track. We love this edition to our log home & will be picking up another door to add on to a different bathroom. Excellent price point with good looks.

Extremely pleased with my purchase of this barn door and it turned out beautiful. Very easy install and came with everything needed. And all for a very reasonable price.

This door is a great value for the price. If you plan to finish it yourself, be prepared to invest some time. I used a dark walnut stain but did not allow it to soak long into the wood. The only criticism I have is that the hardware is not great quality. The wood screws are made of soft metal and very easy to strip even with pilot holes. It made the job unnecessarily difficult when better quality screws would be a minor upgrade. Overall I’m very happy with the finished product.

Love this door it is useful and beautiful! It ads just the right touch of farm house to your home. Go get one you wont be sorry!! I stained it with a semi transparent stain. Go get 1 you wont be sorry ! All hardware is included including top board.

Can't beat this door. Solid wood. Great quality and great price. I bought two. I would be great if they had smaller spacers available. When I installed mine the door had a huge gap between the inside of the door and the existing moulding. I was able to find 3/4" spacers online and install those, which worked perfect! Would buy these all over again. Really surprised they are not more $ but I'm not complaining :) Just need to paint them .....wish they had nickel finish as an option

I used Amber shellac on mine and the grain in these doors is beautiful.

This door was quality built. There was one spot in the door where a knot was bubbled out. My scheme was wood with knots and imperfections, so I was fine with it. Nice to have it predrilled and great instructions on how to install it when your done with your finishing. Also they give 3 options for keeping door on a rail for the floor. They also give options for concrete walls, wood or drywall. Also anchor bolts provided for you, if you need. They really thought of everything and multiple options.

Great quality - staining took some time but it came out great ! Go slowly and really read the instructions- measure and re measure multiple times. The door handle was meh, I’m buying a different one.

I spray painted the black hardware silver which turned out well. The plastic wheels painted are holding up well. I put the header board up above my existing door trim and it did not need cut like the instructions said, granted the metal bar is not centered on the board but it was better than cutting the trim. I did not like how far away the door was from the trim so I cut the bar spacers shorter to bring the door closer. Overall I am happy with the door quality. I stained it and turned out great.

This door was much nicer than expected for the cost. I did not want a door I had to assemble. Make sure the center of track is atleast 85.75" from floor. I wish I would have gone another 1/4" to 86" as the door is pretty close to the floor. I have hardwood, if it was a carpet you should do a test fit. I did not want the mounting board on my wall either. So i drilled new holes in the track where my wall studs were. no issues and I actually trust the lag bolt into a wall stud more than into the 3/4" pine board. The door slides very nice and smoothly. One thing to note, I had the door hung with the "V" crossbuck pointing to opposite of where the handle was to be installed. I did not like this so i flipped the door around and put the handle and "V" crossbuck matching each other.

Love this door!! It was pretty easy to assemble and works perfectly for our space!

We have a basement with no door we wanted to close off. We were able to make this work by swapping the header board for a 1x6x8 which made up for the lack of wall above the door. It blocks most of the sound from the TV upstairs

This barn door is beautiful and great quality. Shipping and Transportation was much faster than originally stated, and the doors were very well-packaged upon arrival. The door and board were both in excellent shape and took the stain we applied beauifully. Mounting was a little tricky and time consuming but instructions were thorough and led to a perfect installation. We purchased and installed two doors and are waiting on a third door to arrive.

So we just purchased a new home and in a closet sits our washer and dryer when you open that door up you’d run into another door so we decided to look into doors as most people know it’s expensive to get a finished barn door so I took some of the ideas off of the costumer review and we are in love with the outcome. You get exactly what you pay for and more and it is definitely everything we wanted and more !!! We were a little afraid of staining it but it was super easy. Hopefully this helps someone because we searched everywhere and we even considered having one built but when I seen this door and an idea I ran with it and now we are super happy. We did have someone install it because I have read it is difficult to install and based on the contractor it was a little true but our guy was experienced so it took him about an hour to install it. We love the door. It was easy to stain but did take some time. It’s not hard to install but the directions are not very clear. Double check you measurements to make sure that when you hang the door it’s not to high or to low. The rail support board had a huge knot in it and could be used. HD did credit me $50.00 to get a new board which was nice.

Door looks nice and is well built. I stained mine to match orher wood in the room. I had to cut several inches off each end on the metal track since the spot I put it in didnt have enough room. The only reason for 4 stars is I used the mounting board which causes the door to stick out so there is a gap. Other than that it looks awesome. I will space it back toward the wall with some washers.

The jokiness are prepared beautifully and it is sanded mostly smooth already so staining was a breeze! We finished ours with a very light coat of varthane early American stain and replaced the handle with one that matched our cabinetry and we are very pleased!

Instructions were good, install was pretty easy with one exception. The track was not exactly straight so I had to mount it at the two end bolts and then bend the bar to locate the middle hole.

Door stained nice and even. Directions were easy to follow. Looks awesome

One of the boards was slightly warped so we put it in the center to make it close right..we stained it a weathered grey ..we gave it two coats but one is enough...had to sand it to give it the weathered look we were after... All that work did provide a gorgeous barn door
