Purchased this switch and a mechanical timer to replace my old Dayton fan control unit. Needed to purchase a 2 hole cover plate to integrate the two units. It worked as expected. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is it only comes in white.

I love the nice clean look and slim profile of this switch. Very well packaged, with good install instructions. I would recommend this sleek looking switch over other bulky whole house fan switches.

I bought this switch for our whole house fan and installed in on 7/14/2017. It failed on 8/29/2017 so that off and high position was "low speed" and low speed was "low". I would not buy this again.

The wholehouse fan control switch works fine and was easy to install, yes I would recommend it.

This switch works with whole house fans and is rated for 1/3 HP motors. The switch only comes in white and fits in a standard rectangular cover plate. The instructions are completely useless as they do not explain which connection point is for what, so I will clarify. The left side of the switch is for the black (hot) wire coming from the circuit supply at the top gold connector and the green bottom screw is for the ground from the supply. The right side has the low speed motor wire (usually it's red) at the top gold connector and the high speed motor wire (usually black) on the lower gold connector which is positioned at the mid point of the switch. The white neutral wire does not connect to the switch. A picture is attached. The instructions that come with the switch show wires going to a box with no explanation of the connection points.

We are glad to be able to get OEM replacement parts from Masterflow for our whole house fan.

Every house should have a whole house fan installed. I haven’t used my AC all year turn on the whole house fan at night to cool the house down saves money.

I bought these for installing a quietcool dual speed fan and it was very simple and now the interface is very simple for people to use. You see high, low, and off and know exactly what is going on without any kind of app on a phone or web browser. I linked it to a Watts timer which is also very simple and good for this application.

The switch didn’t come on in the low speed unless I flipped it a couple times.
