I used this item to install a microwave vent pipe. It worked perfectly.

This starting collar for 6” round duct works just like it’s supposed to. Cut a hole in your duct, insert this and bend the tabs over to secure it in place, then slide your next bit of duct over the crimped end. Just that simple.

Good and sturdy product. worked well within my budget.

works great for running a take off, can be bent to start oval duct as well

Having this already made up saved us a gob of time in installing our new gas cooktop vent system.

Use a collar and gasket instead, you'll save more time.

The product was not as pictured (it didn't have the male corrugated connector, but instead was aa smooth female connector which worked better for my purpose of fitting and connecting a custom built 9x12" register box to existing male ductwork for a 1889 house. The construction was decent enough but would leak a VERY small amount due to compressed slightly open metal pleats.

These are a new style that are not as nice or as sturdy as the old ones. I by approx. 20 a week and will be looking for a new supplier. Bring back the old style.

Worked great. Easy tap into old air handler to add a new hvac duct into a room.

its a starting collar for a heat run on a hot air furnace what can I say it worked alright

Prefect in small area

Good enough for most situations; can be tough to install when space is limited, actually getting the tabs bent around inside the trunk line. Secured a flex duct to it for an additional run into a far reaching bedroom. Wish it were longer for ease of install.
