Great length, most of the time I can double it up or loop it three times when I’m using just the one ladder. I use the velcro it comes with to tuck away the excess. Great cable

My key broke when trying to use the lock for the first time. The key is inferior and made of extremely soft metal. The quality of the lock itself seems pretty decent. Home Depot was able to make me two keys for this lock for about $5. Much better quality than the original keys.

I puchased (6) Python Adjustable Locks. Only 3 out of the 6 would cinch (lock). I could turn the key to lock and pull the cable out of the lock. Very disappointed in this product. I called Master Lock to complain and was told this is a HD Specific Product made in China.

I was looking for a way to secure my sit-on-top kayak when not in use. There was really no way to secure it, until I came across this lock, where it could pass through the drain holes. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for, because there is no over-mold at the tip, just the exact diameter cable. I pass the cable through the drain hole, and around the kayak rack, and turn the key to lock it in. SO easy to use and I love the fact that this cable is also weather and rust resistant. I had a hard time finding a lock that fit my criteria and I'm thankful Masterlock created this concept! Check out the pictures below and see for yourself how effective this cable is for my needs.

I bought two different versions of this lock and this one was twice as nice wish id have bought 2 of these

This was perfect to secure my gas and water cans to my Land Cruiser. Bungees got hold and snapped, this is a MUCH better solution.

Trouble getting the cable to lock consistently I like the adjustability of the cable length for locking more than 1 bike to to different types of bike stands etc Curtis

I bought his for camping, so we can lock our bikes up at night. It works great because it is adjustable. If you have a thick tree or a thin post, you can adjust where the lock is on the cable. Makes it convenient and easier to use.

The Master Lock Cable Lock with Key is better than I expected. It is a quality lock, easy to use, and it'sreally a quality devide. Glad I bought it. Should have boughty more than one.

The lock didn’t really function correctly at all as it continually slipped instead of locking.

Easy to use. Fits easily into truck bed tie downs so I can secure my ladder and such. I like that I can cinch it down, so it also keeps the object from moving around. Could someone cut through it with large bolt cutters? Probably, but they could with a chain too. But this is clean without the usual rusting of chains.

The cable pulled out with minimal effort when it was properly locked.

I bought two different locks. Both can be opened by the same key. Haven't tested it, but I am just reading a review by another reviewer and turns out this can be picked in 15 seconds. I am returning these pieces of junk.
