This worked perfectly for my needs. I wove it in and out of my deck railing for added privacy and shade. Used black zip ties to hold in place.

Worked out great I did let it sit in the sun to make it more playable, easy to cut and fit exactly where I wanted.

    Poor Quality
I really loved this product so I recently bought more to match up/combine in in one project with this same product I purchased in 2019 (I purchased this product many times before that). It used to be about twice as thick (see photo) — more difficult to handle (let it warm in the sun), but so much more durable, not wavy, higher quality, permanent! The version I recently purchased is thin and flimsy! I called customer service and got an excuse (foaming agent?). Many companies are willing to compromise quality to save money. Luckily other companies are making this same kind of product — maybe it's time to check out other options.

Looks pretty awesome to me. It is thick plastic... My concern was ... will it break? nope! 10 stakes. tall! at 5 inches. I wish it had a right angle on bottom to stake to but straight will have to work.

I installed this Terrace Board earlier this week and am very pleased with it. As part of my preparation, I unrolled it in the yard and put a brick on each end to weight it down and let it sit in the sun to flatten out for a couple hours while I prepared the area where it would be installed. It was very easy to shape around inside and outside curves, and the stakes worked very well. Although a package of 10 stakes is included with each 40-foot roll of terrace board, I might suggest purchasing some extra stakes, especially if you are planning to bend it around inside and outside curves as I did. Using more stakes as it makes it easier to keep the terrace board in place, especially if you are placing it in an intricate shape. I ordered the extra stakes thinking I did not know how durable they would be, and feared I might break some. But contrary to what someone else commented, I fould the stakes to be very tough and durable. I easily pressed them into the ground by hand or tapped them in with a rubber mallet, not breaking a single one. Another plus is this terrace board uncoiled and flattened out much easier than other types I've used in the past, and it was very easy to re-shape it around the garden and keep it in place. I especially like that this terrace board is 5 inches tall, unlike most others I saw that are either 3.5 or 4 inches tall. The added height allows you to put it an inch or so in the ground if desired, and keep it in place better. The black color provides an attractive contrast, and looks very nice next to green grass and red mulch (see photo attached). This product is very durable and the cost was actually less than a roll only half its length and only 4 inches tall available locally. I also appreciated the free shipping on orders over $49. Having used 2 similar products in the past, I highly recommend this product over the others. Also, most of the other products do not include any stakes. Soon I will be installing the 2nd roll of terrace board in a different area of my yard.

      Works with more stakes.
I used the terrace board to surround a swing ser and hold in rubber mulch. I read a lot of reviews about the material not being flexible and not staying sttaight but i was able to make it work. First, unroll it in the sun. Bend it back, etc to make as straight as possible. I also dug a small trench about 1" deep to guide me and to keep the border more stable. The biggest thing is to order more stakes. No way this will work w 10 stakes which is one every 4 feet. I used one per 18". I also made sure to pack some dirt around the base of the stake and along the bottom of the border to make sure there were no gaps and to offer more support. Half the price of what's sold in stores but better quality. These are easy to work with and don't insist on staying curled up like some other brands. The 5" height gives you an adequate edge while still being stuck in the ground about an inch (use a spade to easily do this). Like others, they do better on a bit of a curve, as they don't like to be perfectly straight (they will look warped if you want them perfect), but for slightly curved borders, they look great.

I have purchased hundreds of feet of this Terrace Board edging to replace the shorter edging that we've had for many years. I mulch my beds very deeply, and this (very thick) edging allows me to do that w/o losing mulch to runoff and the lawnmower/weed-whacker. A bonus is that my plants can be planted right up to the edge of the raised bed, and they are also protected from the perils of mechanized lawn maintenance. I like that I am able to simply set this on the ground so that I don't have to trench or dig this product down into said ground. I also agree with other reviewers that the edging can get a bit wavy in spots, but that is a trade-off I can stand. I've been able to keep it looking new by taking it up and wiping it w/ a damp cloth. If it ever fades, I'll consider using a tire blacking spray to revive it. As a suggestion, it would be beneficial if there were some sort of coupling to join one 40ft. length to another. I've tried duct tape, but it doesn't hold. I'd also like some sort of trim piece for the ends of the edging to use in areas where the edging runs up to a driveway/paving. In my opinion, this would give an even neater finish. The only drawback I can see with this product is that Home Depot doesn't stock it in my store, so I can't use my lawn and garden coupons to purchase it; it gets expensive when you're purchasing enough for an entire property. You can shop around for this, and I've found that Home Depot will honor other retailer's prices.

        Just right for the job
This is just what I needed for putting a simple edge between my mulched bed and the fence. It is 5" high which allowed it to be partially buried, and yet high enough to help keep mulch from drifting through the chain link fence. It was easy enough to cut with a utility knife where I had to make a slight uphill bend. Before installing the edging, I removed the wrap ties and stretched the whole thing out in the yard. It sat for about 1 hour on a warm day (75 F) and was straightened enough to be no problem. I am pleased with it and the price is fair. If feels like it's good quality, and I like that is made from recycled material and made in the USA.

        Tough Flexible edging board
Used the edging to hold up sand as a substrate for slate walkway - the stakes provided were great for the initial layout shape, but I ended up supplementing them with steel stakes to complete the project

        Rocket Scientist Not Required
I was looking for a landscape barrier to form a 70 foot gravel pathway in my yard. The pathway had to run (and look) perfectly straight for about 65 feet, then make a turn of about 45 degrees. I had thought of using metal edging, but it was far too expensive and seemed harder to install, particularly given the 45 degree curve I needed. Some of the reviews I read about this product claimed the plastic edging (which is delivered in a spool) was stiff and hard to flatten out. I had no problem installing this on a cool fall Vermont weekend. I filled my kitchen sink with hot water and put the spool in (weighing it down with a heavy pot). After about ten minutes, I took the spool out and immediately unraveled it. The edging flattened out perfectly, and I installed it on the pathway. It installed very easily and seems to work great. I'm only giving it a "Good" so far because it hasn't been in the ground for long, and can not yet attest to its durability. A picture is attached.

        Good deal
I used this to fabricate a front air dam for my Toyota. It has a good compromise between flex and rigidity. Both sides are wood grain. I would have preferred at least one smooth side. 40 ft is enough for a couple air dams and maybe some side skirts.

        Just the right size
I tried to use the 3 inch edging that is sold in the Home Depot stores but the 5 inch works so much better. With heavy rain the mulch will flood over the 3 inch- but not the 5 inch. Works great. PS: Be sure to roll it out and leave in the sun the day before you use it. That way it will be much easier to put down.

        Edging product enhanced my yard
I was looking for an edging product that was wide enough to prevent grass from entering my stone planting area. Terrace Board just fit perfectly and is 5" wide which should keep the grass from spreading into the rocks. I had read the other reviews which made installation snap. Dug an edge with the Garden Weasel Edger tool down 5 inches and dug out the sod. Uncoiled the board, layed it on my paver patio with bricks on top for several hours in the sun to straighten it out. Then inserted it into the ground about 4 inches and secured it with the stakes of which 10 were included. The instructions said to space the stakes about 4' apart. I felt that putting the stakes in every 3' would prevent curling so I bought extra stakes with my order based on another reviewer who did have that problem. Then filled the planting area with dirt to 1" of the top and back filled the grass side with dirt as needed, tamping down the dirt on both sides with my hand as I went along to straighten the board. I did a 120' planting area which took me about 3 hours to install just the board and stakes. Digging the area out took me a few days as I had to remove sod and add dirt. Now I'm in the process of laying down a weed mat, planting flowers and putting river rocks around the plants to finish it off. One pictures shows the edging, dirt and stakes. The other picture shows the plantings, weed mat and river rocks being added. I am extremely pleased with the product and how easy it was for me to install.

        Great product!
This is the greatest bender board yet. Sharper curves can be made with this product, and with the 5 inch width, can be inset into the ground for graceful and stable curves. It works easily after allowing it to warm up in the sun. I couldn't be happier...

        Horrible product!
I would not recommend this product. Once the edging was in the ground, it warped due to the heat! I was very disappointed with this item. The edging was very flimsy, hard to manage and stakes malformed the edging after install.

Worked great for a border around the pool fence. I used the fence to hold it in place so didn't use the spikes. The terrace board is rigid enough to stand up nicely and seems very durable.
