Only used once but the bit easily drilled through bricks I needed to drill through for a handrail I installed.

I bought this after dulling several bits drilling drain holes in terracotta planters. This bit worked like a hot knife through butter. I am very happy with it and recommend it.

It Broke Quickly
The bit broke after only drilling into two bricks. I expected a lot more use from this.

I needed to drill through about 3 inches of porch concrete. With the use of an impact drill motor, I was able to drill about 1-1/2 inches before the carbide tip started to breakup and wouldn’t drill any further. I way very disappointed in this drill. It should have at least been able to drill one 3 inch deep hole.

Great for Brick
I allotted an entire day just to drill a 3/4" hole through 18" of my brick house. I thought it was going to take forever. It took 20 minutes with this thing, and that's only because the bit was 12" and I had to go inside/outside repeatedly trying to meet both ends. Old house :)
I was so shocked it took so little time because i've drilled holes previously and it can take 30 minutes and multiple bits just for a mailbox or something. The bit didn't even have time to heat up all the way!

I was afraid my 1/2” drill would not be big enough to punch a hole that big through cement, but it worked great. Good tool to have.

This is a good hammer drill bit. I used it on an old concrete block wall. After 6 holes it still drills like new
