The 8-Piece Milwaukee MX4 SDS-Plus Carbide Drill Bit Kit has all the needed sizes for whatever arises in my homeowner concrete drilling task (5/32" to 1/2"). Their build allows me to drill without concerns from embedded rebar. Their high durability and dust removal designed flutes allows quicker, longer, cooler and cleaner hole production! The storage case is very durable and well protects the bits when packed in my tool bag! Overall, this kit offers great value and performance for drilling dense.hardened concrete!

These SDS Bits are mirical workers, I drilled 8" into a rock several times with my Milwaukee hammer drill and with taper pins and chisels was able to remove six inches off the top of the rock. The bits work very well in cement, brick,bloks and stone. The case makes it easy tokeep your smaller drills together. I have two hammer drills and the Milwaukee is far superior.

Milwaukee has an 8-piece kit in a plastic box with MX4 4-cutting SDS PLUS drill that can last up to 5 times longer than standard carbide bits. There is a wear mark on each drill bit that shows when the bit no longer meets ANSI requirements. This kit includes bits from 5/32 to 1/2 inch. For demo I'm using a 3/8in. MX4 4-cutting SDS PLUS with my battery power hammer drill, this concrete does not have any rebar but it sure drills easy and speedy. I'm very happy with these Milwaukee MX4 4-cutting SDS PLUS carbide bits, they found a place in my toolbox.

Totally impressed with my initial first look at these quality masonry bits. Once again the Milwaukee quality shows through. First thing I notices was the four cutter bits compared to my old two cutter style bits. The solid head Carbide with a centering tips will not be denied. Milwaukee even includes a wear indicator for when the blades usefulness is reached. With the variable flutes which removes the the heat and dust faster that tends to dull in effectiveness which dulls the bits. These Milwaukee masonry bits will compliment my Milwaukee combo drill kit. If the weather holds up here in Michigan I just might have a couple of projects this fall. That I can knock off my job list. Great product and a great company. High quality is the watch word with all Milwaukee products. Plus the little case looks cool that keeps all the masonry bits in one case.

Milwaukee MX4 SDS-Plus Carbide Drill Bit Kit (8-Piece) is a high quality set of masonry/concrete bits. Includes sizes: (1) 5/32 - inch, (2) 3/16 - inch, (2) 1/4 - inch, (1) 5/16 - inch, (1) 3/8 - inch, and (1) 1/2 - inch. They are mostly six inch lengths with two sizes four inches long. The ends have what Milwaukee designed as a 4-cutter bit with centering tip that has a longer useful life and is more precise drilling. Their new design cutting ends can lengthen drill bits use up to five times when encountering embedded rebar in concrete. I found these bits better manufactured than the ones I've been using and will easily last longer on that point alone. The cutting edge at the end is solid carbide compared to others that use only carbide coated cutting edges. On the job you can't have enough good drill bits because of breakage and unexpectedly wear that slows everything up. The set is made in Germany.

This set is different then any other concrete bit set that I have ever seen. Definitely not your dad's bit set These are rated for concrete containing rebar. Milwaukee's x bit technology will make this bits cut through concrete faster and last longer like you would expect from the Milwaukee brand name.

Seriously Milwaukee? All that fuzz on the box "German made", "5x life", etc... the tip of the 1/4in bit broke off after 2 holes! two stars only because it was an amazing drill bit for the first hole.

Great bits for all types of masonry construction work. The durable 4 tooth cutting head lets you plow right into rebar and not worry about snagging the bit or breaking it off. I have to drill my concrete garage and basement walls to attach shelves and hangers and these bits work awesome with an SDS+ hammer drill. I don't think I'll ever be able to dull them with normal chores and work. Based on their performance I could drill a thousand holes and still have bit left. The four pack carrying case is handy and stashes in the tool box or a pocket so that you have a variety of bits. 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2" are all in the box. These are your most common sizes for tapcons and other hardware as well. They are a great value for the price. I'd recommend them for sure.

The MX4 SDS bits are a great concept that works fantastically. These bits drill much faster and easier than the traditional bit designs. As you can see in the video, the bit goes into the material like butter. I prefer this bit design over the traditional design because it is easier to use overall. The nice thing about these bits are the four cutting bits. The design should last for may cuts without going dull. Great item for any hammerdrill requiring SDS designed bits.

After drilling 2 holes in just plain brick with no rear, the 2 smallest bits in this set are shot. The smallest one has no tip on it anymore and won't even start a new hole and the 2nd smallest one also has no head, but the spiral on it is also flattened and twisted. Useless. I notice most of the positive reviews here are from the seed program, so they got them free. I wouldn't take another set of these if they were free. Must be made of very soft metal.

High Quality product that made easy work of hammer drilling aged concrete that the masonry bits could not do much more than scratch the surface.
