I was concerned prior to purchasing in reguards to the locking feature of the depth adjustment based off other reviews... how ever it performed flawlessly. Used it on sheet rock no problems. And the lack of power cord helped big time while working on stilts in a room with no power.

Easy to use tool, sad to say once I bought the oscillating tool this tool has been feeling lonely. Still love the power and performance.

Allows me to get into the tight spaces. Cuts trim fast on the fly. Rips plywood faster than a rabid beaver compact unlike the heavy models . Only issue is they don’t make a guard for bigger blades.

Purchased 4 months ago an today it locked. Poor design on the top opening which is supposed to help blow sheetrock away from tool actually creates buildup when cutting out lights or air ducts in cieling. The dust coming out goes inside the tool and dries out the fan bearing. Its starts squeeling than eventually locks. Not recommended for heavy duty use this is made for light duty jobs.

This tool is sturdy but light weight allowing accurate control by one hand. Cutting is relatively precise through dry wall with replacement bits available at THD to cut through wood and other materials. As others have mentioned the depth adjustment/limiting guide at the head of the tool has preset notches at specific intervals and so can not be smoothly adjusted to any particular depth you may desire. The fan near the cutting bit does blow some dust away but nothing that would keep you from wearing a mask or cleaning up with heavy use. All in all this tool is a great time saver and reliable.

This Milwaukee M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Cordless Cut Out Tool Bare Tool is a pretty nice tool over all. Very comfortable in your hand, quick bit change and very quick depth adjustment. Comparatively quiet. I found cutting with it very controllable and comfortable. The battery life I can not verify because as of this review, it hasn't died yet and I used it to create the Milwaukee demo(see pic) and cut out 6 outlet openings. I have an issue with the guide being somewhat wobbly and I just don't see the benefit of the advertised "Vent on top of tool to blow debris away from the user". But over all this is solid addition to my Milwaukee tool collection.

This is a another great tool from a great manufacturer. The tool uses the M18 battery which is used on many of their other products. The tool comes with a handy clip on the battery side which is very handy for clipping on a tool belt. The tool comes with a couple of bits along with a very nice wrench which also has a bottle opener. very cool!! The tool also has a depth adjustment ring at the top. Overall, this product is great and I would strongly recommend!!

Best toro zip I have ever used been doing drywall for 35 years and this is by far the best design and power on a 5.0 battery

Everything worked great. Got a project done for work. Hammer drill and grinder exceeded expectations.

Works perfect for drywall, backerboard, Tile. Plenty of power and not too heavy. Plus no cord.

It’s good but I was hoping it would be a little stronger. A coworker has a Makita and I think it works better.

I love it. Unlike other cutout tools the Milwaukee keeps the sheetrock dust out of your face when doing ceilings. That is a huge bonus.

Didn’t work that well

TTK must be trying to pinch pennies. Quality at big red has been lacking lately. Maybe bad luck

Wish it would’ve came with 18V batteries

Does what it supposed to do. Bit changes are easy. Switch guide is a little janky, but easy to adjust. Switch is in a good location to not get in the way and accidentally turn off, but I don't find it clear to know which way to push the switch to turn it on.
