The saw itself is great, but don't order online if it's meant as a gift. Home Depot ships in the factory box, so it will arrive damaged and beat up... When asked about exchanging it, I was told to drive 1.5 hours to the store. Now I know, I'll buy my Milwaukee tools locally from smaller stores instead of Home Depot. The saw itself is great, and definitely packs a lot of power into a cordless option.

I really like so many aspects of this jigsaw. The dust collection is pretty good and he overall build quality is superb. However there is too much play on the bevel d it resulted in unintentional angled cuts. Even before I cut wood I could manually shift the bevel fifteen degrees or maybe more and saw this result in uneven cuts. I so badly wanted this to replace my corded Bosch but it looks like I may need to look elsewhere.

I've added another excellent Milwaukee tool to my collection of M18s, so I don't have to worry about cutting any wires when using the saw. Keep up the good work; the saw has a really comfortable handle that helps you guide the blade anywhere you wish. Milwaukee is top player with the Jigsaw

It's an awesome piece of equipment but the only thing is for the free battery make sure you bring it up at the same time and the people there don't seem to know anything about

The Milescraft 14000713 Saw Guide comes with four sizes of rulers: A, B, C and D. Use the 'C' ruler. The Milescraft 14000713 Saw Guide comes with two supplied screws. Install the screws into the two front threaded holes on the plane of the saw to lock the rule in place. Now the jigsaw can make straight cuts.

Good jigsaw, could be a great jigsaw with improvement to the base plate. The lever for the base plate tends to move when using the jigsaw. Which then allows the base plate to move. Other than that a solid cordless jigsaw that uses the awesome M18 batteries.

I bought the M18 7-1/4" miter saw & jig saw combo. The miter saw fit nicely in my on-site crating truck, and the jig saw is always handy to have.

Works great and lasts a long while.

I have numerous sizes. This one is big enough for most jobs using my medium sized tools.

good balance and weight easy blade change but the thing chips way to much trie multiple blades and settings. I am a Milwaukee guy almost all my tools are Milwaukee M18 (table saw, hammer drill, sds hammer, impact driver, surge impact driver, sawzall, drywall gun, circular saw, lights and a ton of batteries and packout cases) just so you know I'm not bashing the brand.

Beats the heck out of the corded ones I’ve ran. Can cut quarter sized circles in 2” thick wood in one continous cut. Stupidly powerful saw. Good ergonomics.

I have a lot of Milwaukee Cordless Tools and have anxiously awaited the arrival of the new XC5.0 Red Lithium Battery. It produces 20% more runtime than the XC4.0 Battery, yet is the same size and about the same weight. The XC5.0 Lithium Battery is ideal for contractors using power intensive cordless tools such as circular saws, sawzalls and hammer drills. After using the new XC5.0 Battery for several weeks, I am very impressed with its performance. The only minor negative is it takes over an hour to charge a depleted battery to full capacity. Highly recommended for all contractors or do-it-yourself users using compatible power intensive Milwaukee Cordless Tools.

I wanted a second battery for my M18 Hole Hawg 1/2 in. Right Angle Drill which shipped with a 4Ah battery. While checking Home Depot's website I noticed that the 4Ah and 5Ah were currently the same price and appear to be the same size and weight. That seems strange to me but who am I to argue… I'll take the 5Ah. It arrived partially charged so I juiced it up to full power. The blister pack is nearly impossible to open. I don't notice any increase in power but there is a noticeable increase in runtime. If you need to replace a dead battery, or just want a backup, this 5Ah seems like the natural choice.

I love these 18V products by Milwaukee. Will continue to purchase Milwaukee. For cordless they are competitive with powered tools.
