Light and mows through anything!
Very good on gas, starts right up every time, low maintenance and very light! Murray is a dying breed and it was nice to find something simple and old school that functions perfectly. Only downside is that 300 bucks is saddening for what it is, but for how expensive everything is now a days, this is cheap compared to everything else. Great Buy!

I cut off the back flap guard (I always do) and this thing just eats grass. It's a great mower. I cut 3 acres with it weekly Lightweight and fires up first pull.

Makes grass clippings go all over the lawn
This mower makes a mess lot of grass clippings everywhere than you need to rake and clean it or it will cause mosquitoes , this mower is not good they shouldn’t sell it

Mower was very easy to setup without tools. It started up really fast, and worked great at cutting my lawn. I wanted a regular push mower since my yard is not 'self propelled' friendly, and it seems to run a little more quietly than my old mower (good muffler system?). Happy with the mower, hope to have a few great years with it.

Dead after 30 minutes of mowing
I just bought this mower this morning. After 30 minutes of mowing, there was a loud bang and then the motor revved up. I shut it down and it blew a hole through the side.

I bought three mowers with the same motor, I think when the Bolen's were still available. That was three-four years ago. It took me that long with hard heavy mowing to finally wear those down. This new mower takes seven-ten pulls to start. It has a very hard time with grass over and inch of desired cutting. The blade bent about 45 degree when I hit a piece of wood, my fault but never had a blade bend at all even with bigger pieces of wood and rocks. I wish they still sold the Bolen's.

Hard for me to give a good review. I received it and it was defective out of the box. I returned it and have recently picked up another brand that works great. This may be a better product then what my experience showed. Delivery and customer service were great though.
