Easy to install. Quality parts. Good Instructions. While I didn't use the base and pipe, the outer part was adaptable so removing siding wasn't necessary. Selected to increase amount of air for exhausting dryer while also sealing off exterior air and P-Tec No Pest Vent does while also sealing out bugs. Very satisfied and recommend.

It was easy to install. I love the double doors. Should keep birds from building a nest.

Item was made poorly so had to return.

This was easy to install and is well designed. The magnet does a nice job of keeping the vent closed when the dryer is not in use. It is also easy to clean. I put a bead of silicone caulk around the edge to prevent wasps from building nests between the vent and the siding. The vent looks nicer than the ones that use a cage design.

Good concept and easy to assemble and install but I wouldn't recommend installing on a gable or any place where wind can hit it from the side. The tiny magnet that holds the outer cover in place isn't strong enough to hold it when the wind blows across it perpendicularly . You'll end up with the clapping of the cover echoing through the duct back to the room with the fan. Also for reference I have my fan set to move 80cfm through a 4in 30ft 4in insulated flex duct and exits the vent with no issue. I will likely replace it with something a bit more basic.

easy to assemble. there was enough friction between the existing tube and the tube that came with the kit I didn’t need to use the screws. exhaust is sufficient to open the door, magnet holds the door closed so critters don’t get in.

I had trouble with other vents and this one worked great. The doors are very light and well hinged. I live in west TX where the wind blows constantly and they don’t flap like others have and they keep the dirt/dust from blowing in. My vent is also right by my garden so it naturally attracts bugs to that area and has so far kept out gnats and other bugs.

Excellent dryer vent. No resistance to air flow from dryer. I would buy this again.

Works exactly as advertised. Finally I have a dryer vent that fully closes and no more mice getting into the house.

I Have used it. Looks like a need powerful fan to open then trap. for now it's opening about 3/16 inch only.

Too flimsy; never used. Returned
