Solid natural stone. Has same features expected in broken faced natural stone; some size variations and color variations. Stone comes 50 to a wooden pallet at 1800 pounds and wrapped in plastic. The stone blocks were covered with stone dust. They should be washed and size and color sorted before installation. Colors range from golden speckled tan to banded "salt and pepper". Some pieces were fine to medium crystalline granite. Others were coarsely crystalline very light colored granite. My DIY project will use them as 7" X 10" flat pavers, set in a concrete base, for a garage transition from a crushed white limestone driveway to the concrete garage floor. I bought a second pallet for my workshop entrance porch also. All of the "prettiest" stones will be in the workshop entrance porch floor. I have built DYI stone projects for over 40 years. This is very good split rough face granite.

made a fire pit to properly dispose of old flags for V.F.W. Post 201 in Waterbury. At a future time more will be purchased when we determine a new location on the post property. The only issue was the pallet was short 12 pavers when delivered to our location.

I've ordered 200 of these stones to be delivered in four pallets. Made the mistake of ordering it in the store which took nearly two hours to complete it with computer glitches, etc. Then, although it was arranged to be home delivered with other items from the store, it was an entire mess to get it done. Required me to get to the store twice, wait for the delivery to arrive twice. At the end, they were delivered but for some reason or another the folks at the HD might have been thinking it would be funny to break one of the pallets to be randomly piled on other items on the pallets (cement and base stone) and throw the rest on the remaining three stone pallets. Pallets were breaking apart while the excellent delivery driver trying to make best out of it, dragging them with his forklift to keep them in one piece to prevent them being scattered on the road. Thanks again to the driver, who is not an HD employee by the way, again for the professionalism he demonstrated despite of the lack of HD folks delivered. A bad purchase and delivery experience aside, the stones are not for a typical home project. There is an abundant amount of stones practically unusable; dimensions are not consistent - thickness varies from stone to stone 2 to 5 inches but also one end of the stone can be 2 inches or big bulge in the middle 5 inches. The faces of the stones are not rectangle as one would expect. Besides some of them pointy towards one edge, dimensions vary from 6 - 9 inches in width to 9-11 1/2 inches in length. I needed about 140 stones, ordered 200 but with the discards, I may not have enough. COnsidering how heavy they are, taking them back nearly impossible unless you happen to have a truck. Each pallet weighs about 1800 lbs. This inferior product best suited for garden edging but not to be used as a paver as I intended to make a ramp from my driveway to the shed.

Service And Delivery problems
The 7,200 lbs of granite is fine. A residential delivery, I followed up twice, with the carrier and Home Depot to describe the need to be dropped in the yard. The driveway will not accommodate a 40’ box truck. I was assured both times they could deliver with a moffett. 1st delivery was a 40’ truck with a lift gate. I had to reject the order. The driver stated the moffett was in for repairs. They promised to do it right, re-delivering while I was not home, unloading and blocked the drive and walks. I had clearly asked for this not to happen. I moved the material due to my handicapped wife’s access up a hill to the work site where it was to be dropped. Called HD customer service, to let them know their carrier did not perform and misled about the delivery. Customer Service agreed this was out of line and would get back to me. 2 weeks and I’m still waiting. Three deliveries from other material suppliers were seamless, and had the correct equipment.

Hidden pavers
The delivery was simple. And all the pavers looked good on the outside. But when I got to the last tier on the pallet it was filled in with chipped, odd-shaped and basically unusable cobblestones. So out of a pallet of 50 there were 8 to 10 that were no good - all conveniently located on the bottom...

    sizes and shapes very inconsistent
dimensions of stones often varied by more than 3/4" making uniform appearance nearly impossible.

    Border rock
It is pricey but really different from what everyone else has in their yard. They stand out from a distance.

    Cobblestones
Outstanding purchase. Fit my needs perfectly. Have received many compliments from neighbors. 2 pallets, each pallet contained 50 stones each. Each stone weighed 20-25#

    Good
The stones were fairly squared. I used for brick driveway edge. Surprised, would buy again.

Nice stones but hand cut means they all differ in size...
I bought 4 pallets (200 stones in all) of these cobblestones to create a border between my flower beds and the lawn. The stones are hand cut and can differ in width by a few inches (nominally 4" but can be as thin as 2.5" and as thick as 5"). On average only about 8 stones of each 50 stone pallet were really thin or really thick. The lengths and heights vary as well but those tolerances seem to have been kept tighter. If you want a very uniform thickness to your border then you'll need to buy extra stones. I went a different rout and was very careful at selecting and placing each stone to account for the really thin and really thick ones. My border has sections that gradually taper from a 4" width to a 2.5" width and then back to 4" width. The 5" thickness sections were easier to blend into the rest of the border. The thinner sections are noticeable (to me at least) but they blend in nicely and I've been told by 3rd party observers that the stone borders came out great. Bottom line, I recommend these stones and will buy them again for future projects.

Granite cobblestones were exactly what we expected. They were bigger in size than anticipated, however, our landscaper made them work.
Granite cobblestones now surround our 120 year old Oak Tree, and they are now the jewels in the garden's crown.

    excellent edging
These stones were a little larger than I expected but they worked great as an edging between the beds and walkways in our herb garden.

    My garden looks great!
I used these to edge my garden and it looks beautiful! I just wish the thickness were a little more consistent.

Beautiful Old World Hand Cut Stone
These are awesome. Love the hand cut shape. Some are about 35 pounds a stone; not so light weight to me, but once in place will be there for my lifetime. Totally pleased with this purchase.

      Cobblestone Pavers
These cobblestones a larger than the typical pavers, but are nice for a path or larger area. Just be aware that they are not the typical brick size as a liner.
