Look no further, this the hanging tape for you! This tape is exceptionally sticky. Even though it can hold a ton of weight and is extremely sticky, it leaves no residue exactly as advertised. Additionally, you can easily tear it with your fingers! If you do want to use this for painters tape, it will definitely exceed your expectations. It does not leave the residue and doesn't allow for paint to bleed underneath it. Due to this fact, this tape is perfect for multipurpose!

This is a handy tape for many household tasks. It comes off easy and doesn't leave marks or residue, but holds on to plastic sheeting well (which many tapes will not) or trim and allows you to lay sheets and seal areas where you want to paint. One roll lasts a long time and the bright red makes sure that you don't forget to remove any of it when done. I use it to mark my cut areas on counter top and it easily peels off when done. I'd recommend it.

firs of all personally I would not use this tape as a masking tape because it have relay strong adhering, I would be afraid that it is going to pool the finish of off the soft material. As for masking I will use this tape when I do some harsh chemical and when I'm doing tile around bathtub and need to protect the tub and when I'm doing stucco repair. Mostly I will be using this tape as a duck-tape especially around car for temporary fixes because for now it will not live any residue once i get the replacement parts no worry about sticky situation to clean up. Also it can act as a temporary fix of your tail light until you get the replacement the light can go trough and it is red. it is rely strong and it have relay strong adhering ability and it will hold on almost anything.

The tape is actually plastic and like the product says, it is very low residue. Because it is plastic it is very smooth so paints and stains don't stick to it or bleed through it. It was great for using as a barrier. The adhesive is quit good. I used it to bond two pieces of PVC while they were drying and it held perfectly. It would also make a good temporary repair to many items, like camping gear, as it is strong and waterproof. So far I can honestly say I prefer this over duct tape for most applications.

Very strong tape with a Superior holding power . The adhesive is extremely sticky and will adhere to most any surface. The removal is tough but it has not left any adhesive residue. If you use this on your painted walls you will need to be careful as it will pull the paint off I don't recommend using it on drywall. This tape hold better they most duct tape that is on the market.

This is a strong tape that can be used for any job that you would use duct or gorilla tape on. I noticed this tape does not leave behind that sticky residue that duct tape does after it sits for awhile. I used this tape for an odd job of managing Halloween wires and decorations and the tape did a great job holding up against cold and damp conditions.

This product is solvent and moisture resistant with a low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content.

Strong tape that's residue free! Big poly sheets can get heavy and it's frustrating when a sheet falls while you work or heavy residue is left and you have to spend an extra hour or two cleaning away the residue. With this, you don't have to worry about the residue and it's pretty tacky. I haven't used it on a painted surface yet so I'm not sure if it'll pull paint off, but I tape it around glass, vinyl windows, and doors and haven't had a problem. It is a tad expensive if you're just taping paper or trims around windows, which you'd use blue painter's tape for. This is mostly for things like hanging poly. Doing it right saves you a LOT of time and money.

This is an excellent tape for what it is intended...attaching poly or what some folks call VisQueen. I have used it to splice together polyethylene used for a vapor barrier in my crawl space to make a seamless installation and to make a temporary pain booth. The adhesion is great and will not come apart. Most anything will stick to poly sheeting for a while but finding something that stays reliably stuck is another matter and this product fills the bill. While the adhesive is certainly strong, there isn't a nasty residue left behind when removing it like duct tape will leave. I'm not sure how well that statement will hold up if the tape is left on for extended periods of time, but for short term use (a week or less) it comes off fairly cleanly. It does come in a few colors as well. with this being a very nice fire engine red color. Release seems to be fairly good from wood, drywall, metal, plastic and more. The finish is feel is a bit rubbery too which I kind of liked. It just feels like a quality tape.

Red Nashua Poly Hanging Tape is a premium adhesive product. I only had the occasion to use it to hang light weight painter's polyethylene sheeting over my front door to protect it from paint spatter where regular painter's tape would have been sufficient. Where Nashua poly hanging tape would really perform is for the maintenance of recreational vehicle rubber roof cleaning, maintenance and re-coating. Nashua poly hanging tape is made of a strong vinyl material that stretches or elongates without tearing. Its residue free adhesive adheres extremely well to smooth surfaces. And being waterproof for short duration use, it would be excellent for hanging poly sheeting to protect the sides of recreational vehicles from the harsh chemicals used for rubber roof maintenance and re-coating. Nashua poly hanging tape is best suited where high strength, good adhesion, durability and toughness are needed for temporary masking and protection of surfaces during maintenance and construction.

Only a few years ago there really wasn't much of a choice of kinds of tape, packing tape, duct tape, masking and blue tape. Now there seems to be many job specific tapes, which is nice, but are they better than the old stand buys? I tried this Residue Free Poly Hanging Tape for a few projects around the house. First I used it to combine pieces of heavy poly for a drop cloth while painting a wrought iron railing. It did a good job of sticking the pieces together till the end of the job which included sanding, brushing, wiping & painting 4 coats. Years ago I'd use masking tape, but that would just break apart or not stick well & I'd have to keep adding more tape. Then I tried duct tape, but it stuck too well & I ended up having to cut it apart and throw much of the poly away. With this tape, it holds very well, but comes off after the job, and there are no issues with residue left on the walls, vinyl siding or cement porch. Next I used it as a painters tape for an outside door, it has a little better stickiness than blue tape but comes off nicely and seems to have fewer issues with paint bleeding under the tape. I think this tape should also say painters tape on the front label. Although more expensive than blue tape, it does several jobs very well, if you're going to buy 500' of tape you might as well get a multi use tape..

Perfect performance, hanging 0.7 mil poly during a remodeling project. We used this tape to create a plastic wall to protect an adjoining room while we replaced our railings, newel posts, etc. We used strips of tape about 8 to 10 inches long, placed about 2.5 feet apart, to attach the 0.7 mil poly sheeting to the ceiling. After hanging that wall of plastic, we covered all of the furniture with the same type of plastic sheeting (HDX brand). The wall of plastic stayed up, even though the project took longer than expected (several weeks, with demo, sanding, wall repair and painting, installation, and touch-ups). When we took down the wall of plastic, the tape left no residue on the ceiling. When we have used other brands for the same purpose, there were residue problems, and we were very pleased to find that the Nashua Poly Hanging Tape worked perfectly.

This tape is fantastic. I often use poly for screening dust or drop cloths. I prefer to tape it in place so it works better. Duct tape sticks well but usually destroys the poly on removal or leaves sticky residue on the wall/floor. Masking tape doesn't always stick well or can dry to the poly. This tape applies easily, holds well and removes cleanly, allowing me to reuse the poly over and over.

As a plumber, I always need wide tape. Whether it's resealing a box or temporarily covering plumbing openings, I always need a roll. The problem is duct tape has become lower and lower quality or very expensive. It either doesn't stick at all or you can't remove it and leaves that gooey gray stuff behind. This poly tape is awesome. It's super sticky, very tough, and when it's time to come off, no problem. I plan to keep a roll on the truck and at least one roll around the house. I think it would be perfect for emergencies too. Only down side is it's hard to tear like duct tape. So I use my pocket knife to cut it.

This is great tape for hanging pictures, advertisement, posters, notices, etc. where you do not want damage to the surfaces. I liked that I could tape things up to test the location before making it permanent. If you use this for masking before painting, no tell tale signs of of over runs with the paint. No bleeding thru the tape. And its width allows plenty of room for any job.
