Great value
Got this to extend the coverage for the backyard and it works great. Unable to connect to the main router I the basement but the AC1900 fixed the problem.

Good but old
My router has been on use for a while and it is very decent but nowadays it's bit old so sometimes lagging a bit and it don't have any updates

Suitable for our uses
Unit works, but isn't as secure as I would like out of the box. But can be hardened reasonably easy.

Works great
For a long time I switched through routers but none gave me the speeds I needed until I switched to the Nighthawk. My Nighthawk finally gave me the internet speeds I was supposed to be getting and having the dual band features makes everything easier

Dual wifi
I love the ability to have my own separate WiFi and then a Guest WiFi for the kids and others that doesn’t affect me.

Glitchy app and router issues
The app is very glitchy. Last time I had a hard time resetting the router. I had to try multiple times before I was able to complete a full reset. Also, the WiFi button sometimes gets stuck.

Above expectations
My quantum fiber provided router ( advertised as 380 wifi) was not working as expected so was my old ARRIS. I bought the Nighthawk and everything changed. The range was twice better and the speed ten time better. I don't regret my buy.

Nice but antenna are flimsy
One of the antennas has lost its bearing so it no longer stands upright but otherwise good signal

Great when it works
I purchased this used and was excited to get it working. All went smoothly for set up and everything seemed to doing what it is supposed to. Now, it keeps turning on and off. Sometimes I have to unplug and plug it in again. I wish I could say better.

Strong Router with minimal losses
I originally bought this when we had Google Fibre and was getting less than 1% less speed from the WiFi than what I got from Ethernet. It was used in a 3200 sq’ ranch and with the router roughly in the middle of the house I still had minimal loss at the ends of the house. I have also used it in a 2100 sg’ house with 500Mips service and have even lower loses.

Help I am confused
This is our second one. We just got it March25,2025 and it took a while and several calls to get it set up because I know nothing about such thing. Now I can't find the regular password, only the admin info which doesn't help me when trying to set up a new account. They want a regular password. I am very frustrated. Usually my other half does all this but he has dementia so bad he can't remember anything. If you can help I would sure appreciate it.
