Yes we love it. Our second one. The best waffles.

This is a very good waffle iron, with some drawbacks. The waffle iron has to be heated on a stove element both before and after filling. Due to variations in the heating temps, there will be variations in the doneness of the waffles! It takes some experimentation to figure out the best heating temperatures and times for waffles done to your taste on your stove. After you have done that, the waffle iron works great! On my gas stove, I heated both sides of the waffle iron at the same time at full heat, for just over a minute. I filled and closed the waffle iron and flipped it over, heated it on a burner lowered to medium for a minute, then flipped it over and heated it for 2 minutes at medium temp on the other side. Beautiful waffles!

Love this so much!! All I wanted was to be able to put a waffle iron in the sink and wash it, and with this one I totally can! Try making leige waffles with it, you can actually soak it to get all the caramelized sugar out of it. Very happy customer!

Love this stove-top waffle maker. My kids were requesting me to make waffles. I decided to look for a stove-top version, for ease of cleanup and its smaller footprint, compared to an electric one. This delivers in every way. I have also tried some other recipes with it. Everything I have tried has come out good. Easy to clean and use. Would recommend.

I was looking for a non electric cooking utensil to make waffles, that could be easily washed in the dishwasher. This was ABSOLUTELY the answer to my quest for the perfect waffle maker. By following the instructions to the "T" you will certainly experience the best waffle you ever had......and the perfect serving size for one........after using it a few times, I did , however, discovery crack in the plastic handle.....I have made a warranty claim with the manufacturer......I will certainly supplement this review once I hear back from NordicWare...

This thing is great! I thought it might be difficult to get the temperature right. Just preheat both sides on 2 burners. Use a fairly high temperature overall. Get a timer and check on it once in awhile. Perfect waffle iron without going full electric. Used on an old electric stove.

When we decided on purchasing a waffle maker, I researched the different brands. Ultimately, I wanted something simple, reliable, and made in the USA. The Nordic Ware Aluminum Grill Griddle is simple to use, and is easy to clean. The waffles are cooked in a few minutes. We been using the waffle maker about once a week for 2 months. I have nothing bad to say about the waffle maker. It is nice to find something simple that works as expected.

Been wanting a waffle iron that I could actually wash for years. I'm glad I found this. It took a couple waffles to figure out time and temperature. It's so easy and waffles are great size and release easily. Easy to hand wash too.

I was looking quite a long time for a waffle maker that was not electric so that it could be washed in the dishwasher. So glad and happy that I cam across this waffle maker. I followed the directions, except for one exception. After pre heating the waffle maker on tow burners, I sprayed some cooking spray on each part of the waffle maker. Cooked the waffle according to directions. The best waffle I ever made and it did NOT stick. Came right out using minimum effort using a fork. While I can't predict how it will hold up in the future, after using it the first time, I am really glad I purchased this waffle maker which made an exceptionally neat waffle.

Solid product designed for gas stoves, not electric.

Fantastic product. Cookes a crisp waffle right on my stovetop in less time than the electric models. Takes up much less room in my cabinets than the electric models too.

Makes wonderfully delicious deep crater waffles. Mmmmm

I had the older version (maybe 1975) which could not come apart for cleaning. It had a thermostat attached so it could not be submerged. This one is easy to disassemble and clean. We have used it once and I see many more uses throughout the winter.

I love making waffles and this makes it so easy

It was a gift for my mom. She wanted a waffle maker but the ones that plug into the wall are always so hard to clean because you can't get the whole thing wet. This one was perfect for her super super easy to use and super easy to clean. Cooks both sides perfectly and you can cook other things on it as well because it's so easy to unattached the top. 10/10!!!

Grill is perfect for making the best waffles the old fashioned way. Love it
