So I thought I would mention my solution for placing the washing machine in the pan by myself. I used a somewhat flat soccer ball as a roller to place the washing machine. A different ball may work, but it must be tall enough to clear the pan edge when washer is placed on top of ball.
1. Move the washer in front of the area it will reside
2. Place pan in correct position with soccer ball placed in towards front of pan
3. Tip washer forward
4. Push washer onto soccer ball such that the back edge of the washer is now resting on the soccer ball
5. Stabilize, Lift front of washer. It should now be resting on soccer ball. The bottom plate should be able to hold washer on ball
6. Push washer back, allowing to roll on ball
7. Once in position, tip washer back making sure the back feet touch
8. Continue to tip washer back so the ball can be retrieved
9. Remove ball and place front feet down in pan
10. Celebrate!
Just like the ancient egyptians and using rollers! I had tried to think of this solution based on other reviews. This worked flawlessly for me. I hope it can help others.

Pan made of sturdy plastic. Had pan ready for washer delivery. Washer placed in pan and positioned. After 48' trial time (washer) I cut the top edge off of 2 sides for a better fit in laundry closet! Now I will know if and when the washer leaks!!

This drip pan is perfect for what it is intended to do. It does slide around if the machine runs an uneven load. Mine didn't come with the discribed drain adapter but I didn't need one so it wasn't missed. Make sure you have a partner to help you lift your washing machine on to it.

Product it a bit thin and flimsy for the price, a bit problematic getting it over the lip of the pan because will most likely crack if washer leans on it, so you have to figure how to get it in the pan without cracking it. But once it’s in it should do the job it was made for. Just needs to be made with a stronger pvc or something..

Well, it's a piece of plastic folks. You put your washer on it and your done. Not much to review here. Does seem pretty sturdy, and I was careful not to slam the washer down on it and lift the washer high enough not to crack the walls of the pan. Mine did not come with the drain adapter shown, just the tray. Good luck!

We bought our house 21 years ago. The laundry room was outside in the garage so my husband decided it was time to remodel the house after we paid it off. We moved the laundry room upstairs. The drip pan was a perfect fit for the stackable washer dryer that was installed.

I am not using it for the intended use. I bought two different sizes - one has my pets' two water fountains in it, and the other has my cats' two litter boxes in it. The intent was to protect the floor from spilled water and scattered cat litter. And for those uses, they have both worked very well.
