I foster rescue dogs (mostly under 10 lbs). Small pups are notoriously hard to potty train, esp those coming off the street; where and when they potty is conditioned by their fight for survival without a home. I also have 3 BIG dogs of my own (all rescues, of course), including a 115-lb Bloodhound and 2 German Shepherds. While well potty trained, they do slobber, a LOT in the Bloodhound’s case. I actually find it on the ceiling occassionally. (LOL!) But he’s so sweet and loveable that its hard to mind. So! For my entire rescue career (more than 20 yrs), I’ve been using Simple Solution floor cleaners, which are VERY effective, but also VERY expensive (around $35-40/gal and NOT concentrated). It takes 2 gallons plus (!) TO do my entire 3500 sf house, which fortunately does not need doing everywhere, every week. On a frugality mission in the current climate of runaway inflation (which shows NO signs of slowing here in southern CA), I looked around for something cheaper but still as effective as Simple Solution, and I ran across OdoBan. Home Depot has the best price and my home smells fresh and clean (full disclosure: mostly, right up until a day or so before my cleaning lady comes each week). Considering its a concentrate, this stuff works out to be quite inexpensive. I have hard surface floors throughout my house, and I also use OdoBan in between cleaning days for “accidents” of any of the Chihuahua mixes, Yorkies, and tiny terriers. Balancing price and effectiveness for any product is a challenge for most everyone these days, as anyone on a budget knows. This is far and away the very best product for cleaning floors where animals live, as well as for stinky dog laundry. Works perfectly on stinky people laundry, too! And it won’t break your budget, like most of the others. I recommend highly for anyone with pets! Or anyone with any kind of stubborn aromas emanating from their floors. And its completely safe around kids and pets. Try it! You’ll be glad you did!
