This product did an excellent job of getting rid of the heavy, smoky odor in my fireplace, which was very strong and starting to permeate my living room. However, when you use it, be sure to cover up the opening with heavy cardboard or a thick sheet of plastic or a tarp and masking tape all around, as the smell of the deodorizer is very strong.

The main purpose of this product is to eliminate odors from smoke and burned plastics, fabrics, wiring, etc... It is intended to have a pleasant fragrance, but the fragrance is not meant to be long-lasting.

OdoBan did a great job even better than I thought...
OdoBan did a great job even better than I thought it would. It got rid of all the smoke smell in time for our big Thanksgiving dinner. I would recommend this product to everyone that has had a smoke issue.Bret Carter

We were trying to sell our house and have 3 dogs and 2 cats. For about a week or so, OdoBan helped mask and eliminate the pet odor that took up residence in our house. Absent pets, I imagine the product might work a little better. Give it a try.

GREAT PRODUCT! I had a fire in my fireplace and the room filled with smoke. I aired out the house for 4 days and couldn’t get rid of the smoke smell. Used 2 cans of Odoban -set about 7’ apart for a 20’x20’ area with 17’ vaulted ceilings. 1 can on a stepladder. The smoke smell is gone!!!!

WE USED THIS TO TRY AND GET THE CIGARETTE SMOKE OUT OF AN APARTMENT. AND YES WE DID WASH THE WALLS AND PRIMED THEM BEFORE PAINTING THEM. WE ALSO REPLACED THE CARPETING TOO. THIS HELPED SOMEWHAT TO GET THE SMOKE SMELL OUT BUT IT IS STILL LINGERING AFTER USING 3 OF THEM.

We have a foreclosed home that we are remodeling. We have a tremendous lingering cigarette smoke odor. I did not feel that the Odoban removed much of the odor on the first use. We, therefore used it one more time. The second application results left it worse smelling than the first time although this may have seemed so because there was more time lapsed between the application and our return to the house. I would not recommend this product.

OdoBan is a great product.. I used it after getting my fireplace repaired. All remaining odors were dissolved. Everything smells fresh and clean!
OdoBan is easy to use and it did not leave excess residue on furniture. All product gets dispensed and it is easy to treat any area.
I will use this product again.

We're so sorry our customer, Anthony, didn't have satisfactory results. It is difficult to know why the effects were not as expected, but we advise customers to be sure soiled surfaces are cleaned or removed before use of the odor bomb, and to use an appropriate number of cans for the area to be treated (1 can per every 10,000 cubic feet, which works out to about 1250 sf in areas with 8' ceilings). It is possible that this particular can was defective, because it would not be expected for the liquid to make a mess of a 3' radius area. It is recommended that a rag, newspaper, or paper plate to be placed underneath the can to protect the immediate area. If your One Shot Fire Odor Bomb Fogger does not appear to disperse properly, please notify someone in Customer Service at info@cleancontrol.com or at 800.841.3904. We are in Mon-Fri, 9A-4P, with the exception of weekends and holidays.
