This seat is way more sturdy than I was expecting. It is easy to build, although better to use your own tools than the ones provided. The frame is strong and seat really comfortable. Fast delivery, well packaged. I highly recommend.

Put this together easily, and it's sturdy and comfortable. The swinging motion is smooth. There could be a bit more attention paid to where the swing arms are connected to the chair/base -- it's not really obvious how much to tighten the bolts there. I did it by feel, but it would have been easy to overtighten them and hamper the swinging motion.

My husband put this glider together in about 25 minutes - every piece fit together nicely. We bought the cream colored glider and it looks great on our dark wrap-around porch. The description says the glider holds 440 lbs but that may be pushing it a bit. The maximum should be 400. My husband is 6'5" and 280 lbs. I weigh in at 140 lbs so that's 420. When we sat on the glider together it was a little sluggish in moving. However, when I sat on it by myself, it was a smooth glide - and very comfortable. We'll be having company off and on all summer so we'll see how well it holds up to a lot of tush traffic!

First shock, next day delivery. Everything was very nicely packaged, and it was possible to assemble with one person, and the tools supplied, though I did use a 10" ring spanner as this was easier for me. I was very pleased after final assembly, has a lovely swing forwards and backwards motion without being unstable or too easy to rock. Only time will tell regarding durability.

I like the swing size and how it glides, but there is a hard bar in the middle which can be uncomfortable if you sit on it wrong. It gets very hot in the sun so you need a cover to keep it cool.I had it for a little over a month- it rained a couple times and there are few spots that rust started to form. (I did buy a cover at that time).The mesh seat has started to sink some from light usage

I bought this because my swing totally fell apart. It's been on its way out for a good year and a half and I finally broke down and replaced it. When I read the reviews, I thought, "Maybe I should have paid extra for the assembly..." but it turns out it was easy. I did need a second set of hands just for about 15 seconds to hold the bottom in place while I put the screw in to secure it, but other than that, it took me about 2 hours to put it together. It would have taken less time, but I'm one of those "instructions; smuctions" people and I messed up twice, had to take things apart and put them back together right both times.In general, I have a feeling this will end up in my front yard. It's nice, but doesn't replicate the swing motion that I really like. Having said that, it is very comfortable and I can see spending a lot of time reading or contemplating the meaning of life on it.

Comfortable and sturdy. Only problem is it does hold water. Ours is on our front porch that's covered. When it rains and blows in, the swing holds water.

This glider is a good alternative to a bulky swing. We have this on or deck and it is sleek and cozy. I chose this one because I thought it had a higher weight rating but when it arrived it was rated for 400lbs. Which is not bad but less than I thought. There are a few spots that you can feel the frame under your body but it's not a big deal. Despite these minor issues, it is a great addition to our outdoor furniture and guests have enjoyed sitting on it during get togethers.
