Right off the bat, you should know that this product is VERY difficult to use....it will get onto everything you touch with it and trying to wipe it away only makes it worse. YOU MUST WEAR GLOVES!!! I used it to secure/fill several black metal "shoes" that go on metal railing balusters where they fit under the handrail and hide the drill holes etc. Easier said than done....the product is very thick and slow to come out of the tube so I cut the hole on the nozzle slightly wider. Coming out slowly, it does not come out in a straight line and inject into the piece but slowly curls around and begins to attach to areas you don't want. Trying to wipe that off immediately spread it even further and pretty soon my hands were covered in black (thus, the gloves which I didn't expect to need!) and anything I touched even slightly thereafter transferred the black, sticky stain. I ultimately used Varsol/paint thinner on paper towels with some dish soap to try and remove from everywhere it touched but that still left some residue, even on the Varsol bottle. I used the Varsol to scrub it from my hands. Overall, depending on what application you need this for, I found that the trouble involved in applying this far outweighed its value and so I would not recommend it and would find some other product easier to use and clean up.

Did what it is supposed to do. Reasonably priced.

Very strong pliable bond. Looks good once it has set up.

Product hardened could not squeeze put of tube.

Attempted to use within a couple of days of purchase. Fully punctured seal with point on back of top. Had to put very hard pressure on whole tube to get it to slightly ooze out. I realize it is labeled as adhesive sealant and not caulk, but I have used other adhesives & caulks and they all flow nicely. Not this. No date of mfg on package or tube so I don't know how long HD had it on shelf.

Just bought this today and opened it hours later it is solid does not flow at all even ran a drill bit down it nothing moved. Yes I punctured the seal.

I need to glue some light stripping without adhesive to a metal frame. I need something that was durable, long lasting, and would actually hold without damaging or discoloring my bed frame. This product worked wonders. I was awesome and the clean up was super easy!

Great product. I broke some plastic pieces on my black dash panel that were used to secure modular components. With the broken tabs, the modular components would not stay in place. Rather than spend hundreds for new dash components, I used the a small bead of silicone to secure the panels yet still have flexibility to remove. Once I had the tube found other uses for the product. Our gasket around the SUV tailgate became loose. A few dabs of silicone secured it in place. Would recommend it as a tool in your tool chest.

Works Great

When local tech's replaced the windshield on my RV, they left a one inch gap between the ends of the rubber gasket. Right in front of my face so I experienced every rain storm we drove through. Looks like this has sealed it nicely.

This stuff is great. Saved me from having to replace a $40 dishwasher part that was leaking.

This sealant saved me $ and it did the job!

Was stuck in the container on arrival. Nothing came out. Would have returned but for $3 it was easier to trash it
