It came assembled- so no sorry about little pieces falling around the house. Very beautiful to see next to our fireplace and it keeps the kids from rearranging the logs.

Lokos good but one issue
Attractive screen, solid materials. One issue I had was one weld on the hinge was broken. I had to install a new hinge and repaint. I installed the hinge because I like the look and size etc. of this screen. Looks great now that it works.
